KraZKill
I'm sure many of us have played other MMOs, and know of the existence of things like "Fusion stones". "Fusion cores", "Transmutation stones", "Scroll of etc", etc etc Basically what these does is keep the look of one item, while adopting the stats of another, consuming both items in the process. While some problems may arise if implemented in Warframe due to the large variety of projectiles we have in the game, limiting it to weapons/sentinels of the same genre would work. E.g. You can let your Braton MK1 have Soma's stats (Bullets) You can let your Hate have Reaper prime stats (Scythe) You can give your Carrier the look of Dethcube (Sentinels) etc, etc. EDIT: To clarify, to fuse items, you must first own (Crafted and in your inventory) both items, meaning you can't fuse your MK1 braton with a gun that you don't have the mastery rank to use yet. SALE94
Yeah reminds me the most of Dark souls Large titanite shards system. Sadly that would ruin the warframe in particular because why wanting the soma, mastery rank 6 pff i can pick up my mk1 put stone into it and slice everyting. Dark souls in 1 of my fav games, but lvl of power in dark souls is far greater that we have here despite not using fire arms but swords. Point for all that power is very powerfull enemies, warframe dont have non scaling non bullet sponge enemy. BrotherIcarus
I would not like to see a system like this enter warframe. (Warframe is not an MMO)
Scherhardt
No, it will become pay to win I assure you.
KraZKill
No, it will become pay to win I assure you. This has nothing to do with P2W, since you're only paying to have a weapon look like another, it's basically a cool looking skin you like for a good weapon that you think looks ugly. It's all a matter of opinion, for example if someone loves the stats on Soma, but thinks it's fugly, they can replace it's look with another bullet type gun of their choice (e.g. Gorgon) for a plat fee. C-O-M-P-A-C-T
No, it will become pay to win I assure you. How is this pay to win if you need both items to do the transition...
Deidaku
I'm skeptical about this...It doesn't seem necessary.
Blatantfool
A Transmutation stone from GW2 huh? That is a neat idea, don't get me wrong, but I don't think that is right for Warframe.
Habataki
You pick the right idea to the wrong game, truthfully...
ItPutsTheLotion
Good idea. But I think it would be too messy. In time to come you will see people MASSING somas/boltor primes, and fusing into just about every weapon
-CM-Tiffany
That belongs in another game. This would complicate way too many things, and it doesn't fit Warframe anyway.
kscott190
i could see this backfiring in some way Image having Boltor Prime with stats of Ogris

My bad, misunderstood. But it's still not warframe-y + I don't see this work well in a FPS game.
kscott190
What I would like to see is merging same type weapons together, Ex: Braton + Latron = Bratron
DJ_Redwire
Yeah sorry, not for Warframe I don't think. This kind of system is something that would have to be taken into consideration when building the foundation of the game. As Warframe already has that foundation established, this would turn pretty much everything upside down. Thanks but no thanks.
Babalenong
Ogris + Gorgon = spinning minigun rocket spewing of death do want that aside, that may only work on certain weapons, maybe they'll add this fusion weapons things in the shape of blueprint weapons

yles9056
It works for most MMOs, but not for warframe.(I didn't mean WF is a MMO) It'll make things a bit confusing. Edited March 22, 2014 by yles9056
MegaSnail
For the last time, Warframe isn't a MMO! Also I would like this since I love the look of the Aklato but I hate the low damage :P
mcKentucky
I quit other MMOs because of this system.
Monolake
No, it will become pay to win I assure you. Implying that WF is not pay4power already (not pay2win since its not competitive, you cant win)
FlyDungas
PoE isn't an MMO and they do it. Just saying. But I think there are very few weapons this would work for. Swords, fists...pretty much it
CDelacroix
ITT: People show ignorance en masse. Though, to be fair, the TC did a terrible job at explaining this--he basically just wants a vanity weapon system. I rather like the idea, personally, because some of the better weapons are outright hideous.

It is the only weapon with rocket type projectiles.
