In the meantime, I'd like to point out that they had several EPIC things they were installing all at once, including core engine redesigns and access redesigns. It's *highly* likely that when they finally tried to compile it all for final testing that it basically exploded in their faces. We all know they're willing to work all day and night to get an update out, so if they got everything together and said "oh $@#$@, we need a week", I imagine that it's quite optimistic for them to think they'll have done by next wednesday, and I sort of imagine that the majority of their time is being spent between trying to code around it and explaining to their friends and families that they won't be home this weekend. People always say "complete silence" like DE has some omniscience and they aren't telling you. That's completely absurd. They don't have anything to say other than "we're fixing it and it's going to take us ~1 week, and we're sorry". What more do you want at this time? They may not even have any idea what's wrong, just a "there's something seriously effed when we load it up". Telling you EXACTLY what's going on won't change the process. It will slow it down, as they'd have to stop working on it to waste time telling you something you likely know nothing about and definitely can do nothing about. Stop freaking out. Stop demanding answers NAO. They'll tell you when they're ready to tell you, and they've already scheduled a press conference(Friday, 2 pm DE time), so hold your friggin' horses. I had this week off, as next week I might not have time to play this game at all, so was hoping for at least something. What makes this even more ridiculous is that DE is not giving any reasons for botching this up and letting us down. And on top of that, no Tenno Reinforcements at all !? Not even one melee weapon ? Seriously DE !? It could have been an error with the program that would have erased every newly updated warframe account's stats weapons and frames. Or a bug with melee being inoperable. hEll they could be adding a whole new line up of weapons. We dont know, but I have enough faith in DE that they didnt just pull one over on us or didnt have good reason.
