This is... disturbing >_< What i've seen from his abilities and design has nothing of "mechanical", to me at least. I could have seen Hydroid for a sentinel, in a pinch, but not a warframe. DarknightK Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 To those thinking about how "Hydroid's" name should be Pirate-like, Take Oberon "The Paladin" for example. He turned out to be a Guru/Druid. Not much of a Paladin as DE suggested. I think Hydroid will be just a flat-out Waterframe with MAYBE A HINT of Pirate theme in him, maybe due to his Tricorn alternate hat? Thus, I suggest we strictly stick to Water analogies and naming conventions. (Oh, his first skill is also supposedly a water cannonball, yeh). Thus, Leviathan? It's not even because I want the name to be Dagon or Poseidon or whatever, it just doesn't sound quite right, like if Ember was called Emberius or Frost was Frostron, or Volt was Voltax. If you're going to name him based off his element (ala Volt, Ember, Zephyr, Frost and Sayrn) it should be more direct. Hydra or Aquarius or Hydros, Torrent, Tide, etc If not, something broader. Nautilus or Bismark or other ship/submarine names could be interesting, or a gods name (like Damon, which captures the dread of the cthulu traits of the design).
