In the dev stream 30 the talk about mid-boss came up and I think this could make a great one, as fast as the other tanky and knocking down everything in its path with sharpshooter around. Alighierian Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) If my additional suggestions are added then I might consider this preposition :3 1) Every time he lands he creates a shockwave. 2) If he knocks someone he spawns 5 more smaller rollers. 3) He has a dispel aura (not stalker bad) that removes all positive self buffs 4) It's a roller souped up, make it immune to any form of CC 5. Every once in a while, it releases a wave of rockets in every direction. 6. The entire surface is lined with barrels of Gorgons, constantly spitting out large calibre ammunition in all directions. 7. Whenever it gets hit, it will spawn 50 rollers. 8. Frames than get run over, will get stuck onto the roller. 7.1. Every time somebody shoots (and damages) it, hatches open which release miniature rollers. These miniature rollers are smaller than the rollers released by the specialized grineer units, are immune to ranged weapons and melee ground slam area of effect damage. When they hit a tenno, they will stagger him/her (the hits are cumulative, so when 10 rollers hit the tenno within a second, the tenno will be stunned for the duration of 10 hits). the rollers get released in random directions for every 0.5s damage is being dealt to the master roller. ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º) Giga Roller is so heavy, so massive, so fast, and so almighty powerful that it laughs and rolls right through mere stasis traps and vortexes. Nor does it rise into the air when passing a Bounce pad. In fact, it just crushes the grenade and squashes the Vauban. Where is your god now?
