Why Is The New Cap Points 405?

The description of the event states -> "These difficulty increases will allow you to yield higher points in a single run, with endless potential if you want to compete in clan leaderboards!

Endless potential to me sounds like you can go forever. So are the points going to resume again? Or is this event now a tie event (different from what is initially described here)?

Because past 405 points the spawn system kirks out and enemies don't spawn normally. They didn't realize the game was going to decide to do that. This is essentially the re-occurrence of a bug they've squished once and now it's back in a different way.

Because if you are capable of going higher, spawns get mucked, and they moved in favor of zerg clans instead of actual event grinding. It is pathetic and this event is a practical mess.

Which patch was it when they fixed this bug? From what I can remember, they never have.

Actually enemy level doesn't matter. Its a byproduct of having a higher total score; enemy levels rise to make the mission more challenging; not to furnish points as the easiest way to deal with them is to sprint a Loki right by without actually fighting.
