Its not befitting of a company whoes profession boils down to delivering content while working under pressure to give off an attitude of "F*** you, I hate you" in the comments it posts in all chat channels. Either give red text privilage to someone who works well under LOTS of pressure, or to someone who is not currently logged in to their warframe client Sometimes that approach is exactly what is needed though. I would imagine that person logged in running red text isn't just there paroling chat. So every time they have to stop what they're doing to handle disruptive people, is time they aren't working on the what they're there for. There are occasions when the community has to exercise some social maturity and realize that being obnoxious has its limits. Sometimes the devs have to put it in a way that those persons can understand. speak their language if you will. Of course, this is why I have region turned off, the devs dont need help policing their game, and I don't need to be involved in what ever situation is getting people banned. As for the actual red text, had they just left out the mention of tempers, or anger, etc, kept it humorous, would of been fine. Defibrillate Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) its funny that DE has coddled the nuts of this community far beyond anything any MMO company pretty much ever has yet you wanna defend the idiots spamming region because you dont like how red text worded it? redtext has never been overly professional and has been a huge source of enjoyment for the community that actually follows the rules. It's the typical hypocrisy of an immature mind, if it benefits them they praise it, if it scolds them they insult it. It's like a bunch of children waiting outside the toy store and throwing rocks at it because the owner had a flu and couldn't open the door fast enough, even if he's the guy who gives discounts and helps out everyone he meets. Hell, DE has already stated that they're ironing out the kinks and that we should be patient. Those complaining about being suspended for their spamming despite being warned AND notified on the delay really have it coming, it's like a guy jumping into a pool when someone tells him that there's a shark in it. Come on people, let's just grow up and give DE some time to iron out the kinks and problems in the update. The fact that they're doing it for the sake of the community rather than releasing a half-assed patch or update is already a good thing in itself. If it is late in your time period, just go and sleep and play tomorrow. If it's early in the day, just go do something else and come back every hour or two to check. Doing something productive with your time is far more intelligent and respectful than endlessly bugging DE for things they've already mentioned.
