Braton Prime Worth Building?

So I'm wondering if Braton prime is worth building? Only reason I actually wanna build it is because I love how the gun feels. I mean Soma's better but it just doesn't feel like an assault rifle to me. So is it worth 10 oro cells and building?

Yep. I used mods on mine to statistically match the Revenant from Mass Effect 2. Love the gun to bits, regardless of the DPS and all that useless crap.

I just said vandal and prime are very similar in terms of stats, so there's no need of building the prime if you have the vandal already (which is what I did.)

Its a great weapon to use but it wont take you to higher level content without some forma but that said it has a great feel that not many weapons can match

The time span from the Braton V and now is more than a year. So I would have both. I just want it cause I like how Braton works. You'd want to get prime variants because of mastery but eh

Since its main competitor for similar weapons would be the Soma I'll compare it to that:

Soma offers a slash heavy crit build, but the Braton P allows you to specialise with elemental mods because you wont be going for a crit build at all, but you still have a decent base damage. So when you fully mod it, the Braton offers a good amount of raw power and is probably the best or 2nd best assault rifle in the game. (I think)

Both weapons are powerful, but there are some enemies resistant to slash that the soma is useless against, this is where the Braton P can really shine.

It's definitely worth it. It uses great slash damage and is a hit-scan weapon. Might be a bit udner-powered, though, but all it needs is love.

I LOVE my Branton Prime, I put several forma on it.  While it's not the top DPS it's fun and has good status chance.  It's probably not viable for T3-4 runs but it should be fine in T2 or anything below that level.

It's definitely viable in T3-T4, the Mk1-Braton works fine in T2.

Definitely, unless you are planning to  go for an hour or more of T4 Defense/Survival and going up against lv.100+, then you should bring something better.
