(Remodeled) Tenno Rapier Design (Art Included)

I know their are a lot of people out there in warframe who would like to see a rapier added into the game. so because i was bored i decided that i should give it a try and make some artwork depicting what a rapier in warframe would look like.

 

The idea is that this weapon would mainly deal puncture damage (it is after all a thrusting sword entirely) and all motions done with it would be mainly stabbing/parrying motions

 

(sorry my photo shop skills aren't the best)

I think the basket should be smaller though, looks a little too big

It looks too big because its 2D and only from one side.  With a little 3D treatment, It would likely fall into place.

It'd definitely fit in well with stance mods, you know because of all the fencing stances someone could take

for the animations I would think to include some slashes, while rapiers are famous for their stabs and and accuracy among swords they actually could do some light cutting, its block pose would the engarde position in fencing (as rapiers are essentially the first swords used in this martial art) with the blocking animation going through the parries
