Ps4 Bite Won't Drop.

I have done many runs on Everst, Earth with Nekros's and people trying to get bite also but no luck, I have every other kubrow mod in the game and a whole lot too but I can not get a bite. Is this RNG punishing me? How are you guys doing in terms of getting bite?

Visiting earth occasional since update 14, 14.2.3 now still no sign of bite mod.

Bite refuse to drop on PC too. You are not punished by RNG, everyone is punished by RNG

Took me 100 runs to get it. Some have taken longer.

Do not get sucked in to buying it with plat. You will pay way too much for something that is free.

I got it pretty quickly when farming for mods, an egg also dropped then and I was doing the mission with some random rank 0's; called them back since they were already near the objective, lucky them.

the ONLY two rare mods ive ever seen ferals drop have both been Hunt for the Huras =[

 

the feral's drop table has all 8 of the breed abilities as rare drops, so BITE is the 9th on that list

 

even IF you get the table to roll you a rare drop instead of common/uncommon, THEN you only have a 1 in 9 chance of getting BITE

 

AFAIK ingame at the moment aside from the rarest stance mods from specters in DS/rail PVP or the rare osprey drops, BITE is the hardest mod in the game to get atm (aside from unobtainable's like event mods and primed chamber)

Yeah some mods are just...well I will put it like this. It's like getting a reactor or catalyst for a log in reward.  I've got 800 hours played on ps4 and like 100 on PC and I've gotten 1 I think -- on ps4 lol!  :-)

Playing on PC, I gave up looking for it for now. I just move on to something else like starving my dog and bringing my Carrier instead. To many mods on kubrow loot table!!!

Bring a nekros with desecrate and modded with overextended, fleeting expertise, streamline, and natural talent if you can. These mods are not necessary but helps farming a lot. I've been farming for it since U14 on the PC, no luck.

I was one of those fortunate or unfortunate who lost their Kubrow in the 500 bug purge, so I got my bite with the "i'm sorry" bundle. The prices on trade are a bit over priced, I've seen maxed Serrations going for 150p which is like Bite so don't pay more that that if you do buy it. I'll tell you from experience though maxed Kubrow mod sellers is almost as rare as bite itself.

On PS4 people are asking 100p for UNRANKED. For max those idiots ask 500p and up.

 

EDIT: Status update, I have  30+ of almost every mod and no bite. I have had 5 eggs drop and I had one in my inventory the whole time, I had stalker AND G3 while carrying crap gear to tickle the dens and lure out kubrows. RNG hates my soul.

On PS4 I had a conversation with someone selling a maxed Bite for 1000p. Crazy. Not only that but the marked has crashed because of U14...maxed Heavy Caliber 280p...all rare R10's now going for around 300p. Just crazy. Even seen a Gleaming going for 20p.

I'm still trying...but nothing.  Man I would love to forma my Mirage a couple of times instead of using Nekros.  I spend quit a bit of plat so I could have her day one and I haven't maxed her out.
