They keept forgetting that when it comes to the hollywood ninja standards they seem to go by, the very first frames were already far from being a stereotypical ninja (minus Ash). People complaining a new frame isn't "space ninja" are being hypocritical at this point as mag uses MAGNESTISM and rhino can stop TIME but a frame that uses "MAGIC" is too much. Tiqalicious Posted October 23, 2014 Share Posted October 23, 2014 The funniest thing about using "space ninja" to criticise the tonal shift of the frames by the devs as they become more comfortable trying new things is that funnily enough... space ninjas was just as ridiculous and over the top a concept as mirage and limbo and hydroid have been, it's just that now it's not catering to their ninja fetish and suddenly it's "losing the plot" or "reaching the point of no return"Warframe is an over the top game. It has been since it started. Just because the thought of ninja's gets you all excited doesn't invalidate that.TLDR: People in this community desperately need to take off their blinders and stop acting like pretending to be a space ninja was any less ridiculous than the direction the game is going in as it gets more imaginative and has more fun with the concept. Kunai,Hikou,Kama,Odonata,Skana,Nikana,undetected state,spy & deception missions, Ash...Just Ash. Steve's interviews... They try to. It's just that a ninja operates on the battlefield but also & mostly in the shadows. ("Shinobido") You can check the Bansenshukai or the Shoninki if you're still not convinced.
