GIF.

G - pronounced "Guh"

I - pronounced "Ih"

F - pronounced "fffffffffffffffffff-"

Guh-ih-FFFFFFFF-~

GIF.

Not JIF...that sounds like an STD, and it isn't even a file type.

Yiff

Please, not in public. ;A;

I prefer to follow the rules of grammatical pronunciation, so I pronounce it similarly to 'jif.'

"Usually, a c or sound is hard or soft depending on the vowel that follows it. Here's the general rule:
When or g meets a, o, or u, its sound is hard.
Examples: cap, cave, colt, comedy, curly, cuddle.
gas, gather, goblet, goddess, gum, gutter.

When c or g meets e, i, or y, its sound is soft.

Examples: census, center, circle, citizen, cycle cymbal.
gel, general, giant, ginger, gypsy, gyrate."
