Institute-Marksman
1: The Direct Approach:Sentient ships appear throughout the system and begin a large-scale invasion.-Ineffective, costly and time-consuming, but with good results.2: Foreplay:Start slowly. Cause some rebellions, mix things up a little, then take down strongholds and finish off the weakened remains.-Strategically and technically strong, but leaves the weakened group of enemies with time to rebuild.3: The Year Of The Very Slow Invasion:Basically, the Sentients introduce something that takes peoples attention and makes them wanna have it and use it everywhere. Everyone'd get used to the things. But secretly, these things are Void portal generators that eventually open up and allow the Sentients to take everyone by suprise.- Strategically and technically very strong, but also very time-consuming. Chance are that said object or technology isn't dispersed in the right manner. Edited May 31, 2015 by Institute-Marksman

They're obviously called 'Sentients' because they can think, so why should their invasion technique be mindless?
Blackout751
If I remember correctly, their invasion system will be similar to Infestation's invasions. So Marksman's option 1, but on a small scale. If they're only going to appear as the Infested do, I don't think they'll be as much of a threat as they apparently were to the Orokin unless it's pretty much every node at once. And besides, if Draco on Ceres is threatened you know what all of us will do. Edited May 31, 2015 by Blackout751

PsiWarp
As I recall, there was a tentative plan to introduce the new faction via Dark Sector Invasions. It makes sense since our Tenno conflicts involve Solar Rails, which have the capacity to bridge our solar system to the next. That is, if Solar Rail Conflicts will still be a thing in U17. (XBOX)LordPuck
Watch Chronicles of Riddik. Watch the scene where they are discussing the next Necromonger invasion. They are discussing losses, numbers etc. The leader says something about fear and style by starting at the furthest planet and moving forward, or something... Atm, whats farthest from Earth in Warframe? Pluto.......... The Necromonger Leader put it best in that scene.
Storchenbein
It's probably going to be some sort of invasion happening at Outer Terminus first, the edge of our solar system. From there on they might invade the inner parts or stay at Pluto/Ceres while leaving Outer Terminus as a system rail to their origin.

I guess in that particular scenario their invasion pattern would depend on which party(ies) the Sentients viewed as the most centralized and credible threat. You have the Grineer with their Queens in seclusion somewhere on Luna, then Corpus with their leadership being highly seclusive (I'm not sure if it's been said where they hang out, yet), or the Infested which proved at least to be a somewhat effective threat to the Sentients during the Old War (but grew out of control at some point and well...started infesting everything/everywhere), which is mostly centered on Eris. Be funny if the first thing the Sentients do upon their return is glass the surface of Eris, as well as the infested Corpus grave yard ship fleet thingy in orbit thereabouts. Evansmaan
It doesn't matter how will they invade. I just can't wait to collect thousands of coordinates from invasions to make a single key. Edited May 31, 2015 by Evansmaan
--F--NerevarCM
sedna is furthest from Earth, not Pluto. But in a lore sense, Outer Terminus is on Pluto, maybe the only way to reach the Origin System from outer Space, Sedna and Eris always orbit in the Scattered Disk, while Pluto orbits inside and outside Kuipers Belt. Maybe Sentients can use the damaged rails of Outer Terminus to reach the inner Origin System, or the Corpus finished repairs in the rail

I remember Rebecca mentioning something about a new faction with invasions similar to infestations, either in Prime Time or in the Devstream. (XBOX)Grihaly
I feel like the Sentients should take the cut off the head of the snake, and the body will die approach. Oooh, maybe they'll target the syndicate leaders, then they (the Syndicates) would actually have a role in the lore...

Kaotyke
How do you know? They're obviously called 'Sentients' because they can think, so why should their invasion technique be mindless? What makes the Invasion "mindless"? If its like the Infested it means that it will be Everyone VS Sentiens just like its Everyone VS Infested. Though that kind of invasion wont be unique at all. Actually, "Sentient" just means they have senses (ie: they can see, hear, etc). For all we know, they are mindless. Also, it seems that OP is a fan of Doctor Who. Read the first Lancer Entry from Simaris, they speak. See the Tombs of the Sentient Trailer or Mag Prime Codex? They can make Space ships. They can wage war on the Orokin and keep winning untill we came into the picture. No way they are mindless, I'm leaning that they are like the Reapers, individuals but still connected to each another.

The words they repeat are from an old Guatemalan text called the Popol Vuh, which only proves that they are capable of text recognition (like many computers today). They seem to be artificial in nature, so whatever made them could also have built the ships. I'm not saying they are mindless, but given how inscrutable they were to even the Orokin, we can't take anything for granted.

Ishki88
You know how Super Mario World's Star Map had hidden areas? That's how the Sentients should be introduced. There should be a link to a "bridge" and from there we can progress towards the Sentients before they get 2 us (hopefully) Or all hell will break loose (and I hope it does.)
