Am i only one here who dont see any reason why multishot change is required? honestly, i see no reason for it. Also they better look very closely about ammo consumption. Im talking about changing prisma gorgon's 840 reserve to nearly 3000 reserve if we go that route. Pretty much any full auto weapon's reserves needs to be go over 1000 ammo, because multishot is needed because current enemy scaling. Also how well this will work on weapons with small magazines especially something like vectis or tigris.

 

Also was there any word about valkyr's rework since it was ment to be released sametime as her pre-corpus skin?

The Bunny Breakdown is useful as ever. Mighty appreciated.

 

Will be interesting to see what's going on with the Sniper stuff.

 

And considering the mention of the Focus system apparently building off of the lore in the upcoming The Second Dream, then I think it could be possible that the Player Choice we'll be seeing in that quest might be to have an initial look at which of the Tenno Clans we wish to associate with, perhaps. Least, that's my initial thoughts, which may change after watching the stream.

 

As for anything else...taking the usual approach of waiting and seeing what happens first I think. Hope the new Archwing thing will be entertaining, as it is so dull just trying to get parts to drop to make stuff for variety sake as it is.

Yes agree ... and also reload time need to be reduced.... reload will be to long for weapon with small magazine .... :/

Nothing mentioned about the specifics of Valkyr's re-work.

 

I see the logic behind the Multishot change -- mandatory mods are bad. As it was, Multishot was 100% favourable, now there are some situations you might not want it. That sounds like some much needed complexity. As you say, whether the change will be good or bad depends completely on how they balance the enemies, and the weapons to compensate for this change. On paper though, I'm all for it.

Multishot Changes 
• Multishot will increase ammo consumption in an attempt to add more complexity to its use, rather than a mandatory mod
• Apparently this was the original intent - having it not increase ammo consumption has been a two year bug, like coptoring
• This was part of the thought process involved with the Vaykor Hek's release
• There will be many guns that will be tweaked in response to this change - particularly ammo-hungry weapons may get ammo buffs, for instance
This is really bothers me, like ALOT

 

 

Bothers me too. Of course we'll have to see how it works out after all but - I can see myself abandoning Multishot unless I run an Ammo Mutation.

They mentioned that making Vacuum a universal Companion Precept has been debated, but ultimately decided against. It's what makes Carrier Carrier. 

Really? Well there goes any chance of me using any other sentinel ever.

 

Why couldn't they give him a new power to store some amount of excess health/energy/ammo and dole it out to you as necessary? That would be even more "carrier" than just sucking stuff up.

 

 

Also, the multishot nerf is going to make my twin grakata cry...

Thing is, its not about if you want multishot, its about you need it if you playing any high lvl endless missions. That's the issue. Other issue is that if they start rebalancing enemies up to this change, it would give massive boost for ppl who would still use multishot on everything... hence nothing gained for this "powercreep" fix.

 

If this whole idea came up because vaykor hek, then why oh god why you wouldnt just A: tweak hek's augment mod or B: scrap vaykor hek and choose another weapon.

 

Also i can allready see whole bunch game breaking bugs coming along this change when game you were supposed to use 2 shot from mag but whole weapon has only one shot in mag. Heck probably each bow draw has 90% chance cause game crash or breaking to game.

 

Final note everyone will now just slap ammo mutation into weapons in order compensate this change.... so will ammo mutations next get nerf?

Basically it's like some sort of progression that aims more at what your Tenno is gaining as they move forwards.

 

We all mod our frames and weapons, but as an individual Tenno? Nothing actually improves in that department that we can see.

 

Whilst I'm not as versed as others, I guess it's a possibility to get ourselves a kind of forte going on, or specialistation, to expand our options. In theory. It'd also be applicable at all times, rather than when using Fireblast because you're Ember.

 

But it's very much unclear what the final form is going to be, as Syndicates and Augments have taken things out of that before now.

 

I'm sure others more versed can elaborate further on this if I've missed anything, which is possible.

Not sure I'm super into that. The game is about being diverse and having lots of options. I don't feel I really need power apart from my loadout. Still, I've been pretty happy with most of DE's changes, so I'll be cautiously optimistic that they'll do it well.
