Once we craft the frame, what to do with the extra?

non prime? well you can sell it,(unless you want to craft a second one). no they are not tradeable. so i just tend to sell them over time. and also yes two frames of the exact same will occupy 2 slots.

You can't trade regular BPs, you can sell them for credits.

 

Regular frames and Prime frames take each one a separate slot. Since normal frames do too give affinity towards MR, the best is using (if you don't want to keep the regular) the regular frame first and the Prime one later.

Well CHROMA requires an ember helmet volt helmet frost chassis and saryn systems but other than that no

For most frames, there is no point in keeping extra copies of the planet boss blueprint drops UNLESS

1. Accidentally sold the warframe

2. Need the warframe part built to build Chroma Chassis, Systems, Helmet, and Warframe (Ember, Saryn, Frost, and Volt)

3. You like to have extra copies of the same non prime warframe to take up your warframe slots

 

I personally just keep at least 1 extra copy of warframe blueprints just for the heck of it.

But yeah just sell them for credits if you don't see the extra set since they are not tradeable because they can be farmed off the bosses/eximus.

unless you're planning to seel and then eventually rebuild frames, then no, i would not keep them. unless they're either really hard to get, IE hyena pack, or really RNG IE ash/oberon, who am i kidding oberon drops so much that i could make a whole forest of oberons.
