Genomega
Normally I would get 70-100 but since u18 I'm getting some cases where framerate reaches 20 frames was wondering if anyone else haa had framerate decreases since u18.
IceColdHawk
Yes, U18 totally killed the performance. Worst addition so far, let's hope for a fix that won't take too long.
DuncanHydroho
yeah I've noticed something like that too
SwiftPotato12
I have had minor frame rate issues, whether or not it is Warframe's fault I am unsure of. However, the mouse in game seems to lag from time to time.
Anubias
Like every Major update it will probably get better later when DE will find and squash the bugs responsible for performance loss.
Kaotyke
This seems to happen every major update, the Arsenal was having hiccups. It was fixed when I put "Optimize" in the Download cache. Took a while, but the performace was back up.
tennoninjahunter
how is 21:9 monitors doing in U18?
armlesspotato
Before u18, no frame drops and i play on medium. After u18, frame rate drops like crazy, To test if it was my settings, i set everything to low, and still drops, Usually happens when im in a full squad. Sigh. U18 killed the performance. SnipSnipSnipered
Yeah, it seems to have affected performance in a bad way. I hope (and assume) they are hard at work to bring us the fixes. I definitely expected to play this game without framedrops or hitches when I bought an MSI gamelaptop :P
vashyoung
warframe is getting complex as time pass by..it needs to handle more complex algorithms for the new features. its getting bigger and heavier, line codes are getting messy, getting more assets for the 3d objects than ever before... we also need to upgrade our personal tools to cope up with time... thats why IE 6 died :) ps. no problem here LOL Edited December 9, 2015 by vashyoung
Stormdragon
Yeah, lag increased due to performance issues, game crashes more frequently (didn't happen until u18 was released) even launcher seems to be working slower than before (at least to me)
-SL-PWNpL0xB0x
Same case here ^^ i used to be able to play on medium with 30 fps and now after 5 waves/minutes of any endless mission icant seem to reach even 15 fps on low. And if we reach something like 25-40 minutes the game becomes slideshow..
JohnKable
Same here, i have an aged gaming laptop. The game was running smoothly, max settings and 30 fps locked by default. Never had frame drops since u18. Now im experiencing high frame drops when there are too many enemies around. Im having serious problems in high level missions, and lowering the settings didnt help much. Hope this gets at least partially fixed soon
Coaa
DE had a blurb in the patch notes about how Anisotropic Filtering was handled differently and was kinda an automatic thing running on a low setting. Now they added the ability to adjust it up to 16x. I would check the game options and make sure that this isn't defaulting to something higher and adjust it down or turn it off. This could very well be affecting FPS issues for the majority after U18.

Toppien
yes i noticed some frame rate drops but i dont mind, usualy is because they are a lot of enemies on screen and habilities and stuff like this XD
Revenant102
I've only seen a drop of 2 fps overall so far this update. Maybe I'm just lucky.
Krotalon
Noticed as well. My frame rate is still above my monitor's refresh rate, but I definetely noticed a performance decrease since U18 has been released.
Lovely
I havent really seen much of a difference aside from a frame skip here and there almost unnoticeable, but a friend of mine who has a computer way to overpowered has dropped from a solid 200fps to like
RoadyRoad
There's an fps degrade bug since u18. No fix or known cause yet but there's hundreds having the issue. Look in the pc performance bug subforum. Most of the recent posts are about the issue and ppl trying to fix it. Being in multi-player missions however makes it worse but still exists in solo. Try solo for a week or so till they push out a fix and restart often. Wf updates are filled with bugs but DE is typically good at fixing the worst ones like this. Prime-Ares
Only get ~30 - 40FPS a game now compared to a constant 60FPS before u18. Have even noticed the entire computer crashing now only when WF is up since u18. Nothing else seems to crash the desktop (game-wise at least), even it just sitting idle or having massive amounts of other programs running have no effect on it. Seems DE really overlooked one hell of a bug or WF hates this computer.
Schwood
I have absolutely noticed framerate dropping since u18.

Don't remember which or care enough about Twitter to dumpster dive through their tweets, anybody got the tweet link?
