Umbra Warframes (Discussion Thread)

About the Umbra being a warframe thats "free" and don't need a operator.

That seems what the Shadow Stalker is, do you agree? Hunhow says he used to be human/tenno. The Accolytes call him undreaming and pure. He is allmost identical to Umbra in appearance.

De have said some thing about them being twisted versions of Primes right? So - and lets take a leap into the lions jaws - if the Guardians ever existed, what if they were warframes with a operator uploaded into it?

Why would the Orokin do that? Well why did they make living computers from humans?  Maby that was just how they did things.

So Stalker is a Umbra without the bling. Maby?

Exactly in thinking just how they transferred Ordis consciousness into a cephalon they transferred guards like soldiers or operators minds into WARFRAMES to keep them allive.

Just had a epiphany.

There is a syandana that only those chosen were allowed to wear.

They were select guards for members of the Orokin Council.

Maby these were given the Ordis treatment and remade into Orokin Imperial Guards.

And since these were few in number, the Honour must have been among the greatest.

Umbra=Imperial Orokin Guardian?

Oh yeah, assuming the Orokin did create the Guardians, there could still be Guardian and Imperial Guardian,  and Stalker was the Guardian;  that's why he wears that helmet and not a more ornate one.

It's allso possible the Guardians as a whole were viewed as less important by the Orokin. The Tenno were their "Warrior Gods" after all.

This is all my own speculation here, but if Stalker is a Operator-less warframe,  why did he go mad at the Reservoir when Lotus told him about Second Dream?

Let's say you believe all warframes, including the Tenno, to be loyal to the Orokin. Let's then say that Lotus AFTER the Betrayal,  tells you that it's OK because the Orokin were rotten bastards that imprisoned all of you in a false dream.

Only problem was,  your body was no longer dreaming. It was lying catatonic in the Reservoir,  all of your soul now trapped inside this monstrous machine. No waking up for you!

Wouldn't you go mad? Wouldn't you try to find any other justification for what happened? Blame Lotus. Blame the Tenno. Become something else, something new.

The Stalker ran and never looked back, a soul without a body like Ordis.

Any of this plausable enough?

"Virtually identical" was  stated in a devstream recap, while the "94% sure it'll look the same"  could mean that it'll look almost the same or that he was almost sure it'll be exactly the same.

We don't know the details, but both sentences are clearly meant to be slightly ambiguous and not setting anything into stone.

We'll see soon enough, I guess!
