Callback
Audio is a big part of awareness in Warframe. You can hear enemy footsteps, bits of enemy chatter, the hum of rare crates and caches, the direction of gunfire, etc. But when you stealth it mutes everything. You are forced to deafen yourself just because you are in stealth. Why? What reason would we have to limit our own perception while in stealth? Can we please remove this feature? It interferes with gameplay.
artemisfortune
I don't want the muted sound gone though. How about an option to toggle it off?
Kaokasalis
Are you talking about Lokis Invisibility?
dstrawberrygirl
Ivara is one of my favorite frames, but I do often feel like there's something in my ears when I go stealth. My biggest pet peeve is being "bubbled" by someone else's Ivara - when I'm not feeling like I want to be cloaked-stealth, I need to be able to hear enemies. I find the unexpected cloak really throws me off because of the audio change. It's like someone coming up behind you and covering your ears. Some audio indication of stealth is good, but earplugs mode is not great. Edited November 3, 2016 by dstrawberrygirl
Trase-Kor
Ash's invisibility has no sound change. Try him if you really need the sound unaffected. Edited November 3, 2016 by Trase-Kor
LunarEdge7
It's the only other justifiable balance to being literally unseen for 30 seconds to less than a minute. The other being still able to be hurt by AoE weapons if you're too near to your allies. Which isn't hard to counter. I disagree with this, but I get your frustration. Shadow8600
I don't mind it actually, I love the way my weapons sound muffled when using Loki. Gives audio feedback to hushed invisibility.
SteelBlade17x
And also Banshee's Sonar irritating sound effects...
