If the devs die some natural circumstances then others will take the rights and continue the work hopefully keep the shape what the ex devs did before. The chinese part is indifferent to this build because that is their build and they can modify certain levels it but not in full right. That build has no real affect on this one so if the chinese developer team dies then other peoples at that company will take the game and continue the work. Nothing can live forever once we all die in someday so try to think about the bright side of things. But for a group of people (5++) dying from such said natural course is weird... (inb4 Death-note) If the whole company dies and there's no legal handling of the transfer of team leader, i think the game will be closed in x years. These systems normally under a new team or owners always eventually do get released. Look at Dragon Nest and Blade and soul are great examples of games that were highly successful but over the course of thier life had numerous staff changes at the top. (creative director, chief designer, art director, technical director, producer) Dragon nest has been through 3 different leadership teams across 4 companies in its lifetime. Blade and Soul has only been through 2 teams but we still see the original vision of the game continue despite this. warframe remains under 1 team, and they've been fleshing out systems for 3 years+ so theres probably plenty of systems, ideas that just need time.
