Do Auras have a range?

I was under the impression that Auras like CP had a range, but another clan mate is saying they are map wide...

Is there any evidence one way of the other?

Auras do not have a range, but you need to be alive for them to work.

Auras are map wide, but Infested Impedance only affect a small 8m area.

Corrosive projection affects all enemies in a map, you can also observe this on enemy health bars. Yellow means armour, red means no armour.

Auras do not have a range, they affect everyone in the party as long as you are alive. However, certain auras have an effect that's centered around each player. Infested Impedance and Enemy Radar, for example.

Seriously? That is all sorts of stupid. No wonder it does not seem to do anything when I use it.

if it didn't work that way, and it worked map wide with 4 people using the aura, then enemies would arrive to you very slowly. That would just be infuriating.

Damn, i tried to use it with slow nova to "freeze" infested on hieracon farm but it seemed like not working... now i know why :/

The Infested Impedance Aura was changed that way in response to it being used during the Breeding Grounds event.

Yeah... Infested Impedance range nerf sucks. Might I recommend creeping terrify and slowva? Strips armor and multiplies damage received while stacking both slows causing enemies to stop.
