Is Amprex going to be a Prime?

Technicly i agree to all of those but we also technicly had Lato and Braton as Vandal as example. So such variations are debatable and technicly all are possible, since techncily every faction could take a weapon and modify it aswell.  Wraith is more liek Crit based, Prime mroe Status based as example.

But yeah overall so far Vandal = Corpus, Wraith = Grineer and so on. Only other Upgrades i can imagine is Prisma since those are not faction bound with that.

They recently changed the Lato, Braton, and Burstons model to look more like Tenno weapons. But instead of removing the Lato and Braton Vandal they're just going to let people keep them. Same with the Lanka and Snipetron being the same model but different projectiles.

Well it follows this trend pretty well, but don't forget that tenno weapons can also recieve variants from other factions. Such as the latron wraith. But prime follows a very specific pattern of only tenno weapons get primed, there are certain cases of weapons that are thought to be tenno that are actually from other factions that copied orokin technology, such as the braton and lato vandal, which were originally made by the corpus after copying the original designs from the orokin, discarded for more advanced weapons and picked up by the tenno.

But I wouldn't have any hopes for an amprex prime, the best things you can hope for are an amprex vandal (most likely), prisma amprex (unlikely but possible) mutalist amprex (possible) or any syndicate variant (possible but unlikely unless another faction shows up).

To all the people saying that Prime is Tenno, Wraith is Grineer and Vandal is Corpus, remember this:

Prime: Weapons/Frames from the Orokin era, those are the original models of the weapons we use today and their effectiveness is due to their superior technology. They are ancient weapons.

Wraith: Enhanced versions of some recent Grineer (Twin Vipers, Gorgon, Ignis, Machete, Karak, Vulkar and Furax) and Tenno (Latron, Strun) weapons with black and red paint on them, given to us by many different characters.

Vandal: Same as Wraith ones, they're just enhanced and redesigned recent weapons, mostly Corpus, but also some Tenno like the Braton and Lato that have already been mentionned, but also the Imperator. 

 

What I mean by this is that we may see more than just tenno weapons as "ancient weapons". Like some of the Sanctuary lores mentionned, the Corpus and Grineers were part of the Orokin empire, even if they weren't the rulers. DE could make Grineer/Corpus weapons from the Orokin Era. Surely not "Prime", but who knows.

probably not, helios prime is corpus prime but i wouldnt expect amprex to be primed

Fyi the corpus are technically Orokin, but they were merchants. Or your average joe middle class guy.

Not quite the poor (Aka colonists) and not the upper class (ruling class and scientist)

The Wraith and Vandal are one off or specialty weapons that have been customized by a specific faction. In case of the Lato and Branton those were kind of like the model 1911 of now days... Tons of people have the ability to make them and parts are made by dozens of companies.

probably not, but Amprex Vandal is still on the table. we got the Supra Vandal, now just waiting on Opticor, Glaxion and Amprex vandals and I'll be happy.
