The Symbol on her Head and on her Weapon matches up realy good with Warframe. And we all know blizzard... they like to... There's at least a few characters in Heroes of the Storm with Samus Aran color schemes, for instance, and a few others referencing Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, and more. They added an entire vendor (complete with his own special currency) to World of Warcraft in Legion solely as an homage to Destiny. And those are just a few off the top of my head. If the skin is in any way related to our lovely Lotus, I guarantee it's because somebody (or, more likely, several somebodies) at Blizzard adores Warframe.
