Earth Remastered Lag?

So, with the way that they're optimizing plains of Eidolon, it'll be roughly the same fps that you get on earth. There's an issue with that. I get 11-12 fps on the new earth whenever there's foliage. Has anyone figured out how to fix the lag of foliage on low end toasters?

As blunt as this is, it's the truth. Not every game can, nor should, be optimized for every possible setup, and the bottom rung does need to be dropped every once in a while. Just the sad reality of PC gaming

Then as harsh as this is going to sound you'll need to save up or stop playing on earth/eidalon, your pc is clearly at the end of it's viable lifespan for this game and many others.  To be getting the low fps you're listing your pc has to be close to the min specs required listed for the game  (which are too low as it is) and those min specs are a 10 year old pc which in terms of a gaming pc is prehistoric.

Yeah a less blunt answer would be this:

Etiher drop your settings even more, or upgrade your hardware. Newer, better stuff isn't just magically gonna be able to run on underpowered hardware. If you want to enjoy new stuff, you eventually have to buy some better stuff as well.

Don't hold your hope to play WarFrame on Window 2000, nope.

Sadly, most 3D game around 2015 are graphic demanding so, Good Luck, or wait for sales.

Well you can invest in 500 buck for Console or Personal Built Computer, (roughly 600, depend on build and can go up to 1,000 buck or more).

Yep, that why Computer can lead, because it does not stay same for every say years or so.

My toaster can run earth at 60fps but my card spins so fast that I'll avoid earth if nothing important I need there

The issue here is getting the money for a new system, which is almost impossible. I'm in the U.S., jobs are diminishing and hardly pay enough to live, let alone save up for something over $200.

but Trump is making it all better by encouraging all work is done in the US and not outsourced to places like China.....oh and still wanting to build a big wall iirc which I'm sure will need people

 

Honestly if you can't afford to save then the sad reality is you'll need to accept that you may not be able to play the latest and greatest games or the newest updates to warframe.

Contacted Warframe support. Word is, foliage will be given a toggle feature, which fixes computers that drop when around it, which would also fix Eidolon. Let's just hope it comes out with Eidolon, and not something in 2021

New hotfix helped quite a bit with the foliage lag, I only hope they keep improving this. It seems as if they are making an effort to make lower end computers still viable.
