Emergency help with Aklex riven

Hey guys, I have a riven for the Aklex but don't know if I can equip it in the Aklex Prime,can anyone confirm if I can equip it in the prime version

As far as I know you can always equip Rivens to Prime versions of the weapon they are for. (same with vandal and wraith, but not with dragon or mutalist)

all rivens are released for their weapon families, aka a riven for weapon x can also be equipped on weapon x (wraith, vandal, dex, prime, synidcate, etc)

NOTICE: This does not apply to MUTALIST weapons such as the mutalist quanta and mutalist cernos, as those are actually different weapons with different effects etc.

Dragon nikana is also, strangely enough, a separate weapon from the nikana series. 

I believe that's all the exceptions.

You forgot one exception: Dex Dakra. Dex Dakra has its own melee rivens, for obvious reasons.

The dex furis is in the afuris class, not the furis class

The mutalist prefix and the dragon prefix actually starts new weapon families and they are not just upgraded versions like the prisma or wraith variants.
