LiaKap
I recently got a shotgun riven mod that adds 10% multishot but lowers the damage by 5%. Which one is more effective or useful, raw damage or multishot?
0 rapt0rman
Neither negative damage or negative multishot are something you ever want on a riven. They're both equally useful, and really you need both. Edited September 2, 2017 by rapt0rman
0 Jicematoro
Multi-Shot is the Chance of getting a 2-4 (or 5? Rivens are weird) Bullets shot at the same time with the same ammount of ammunition, that means, it's at worse a x2 Multiplier, and at best a x4 (or 5?) Multiplier. If your bullets don't pack enough punch individually, Multi-shot is not gonna do much better than shooting again, so definitely re-roll that Riven. That said! The question itself is a hard one to answer because it really depends on what weapon you're running and for what purpose, Multi-Shots also increase the odds of getting Status Procs, So assuming you're running the weapon just to shave armor away with corrosive, you don't need Damage. 0 IfritKajiTora
IF IT'S SHOTGUN THEN YOU SHOULD LOOK IF YOU CAN MAKE IT 100% STATUS, because all bullets make then 100% status which is super broken. Get corrosive type damage to take down armor quickly.Primary: -Serration only and weapon fully moded is not near 90% status? - damage is more important that multishot. -Serration + Heavy Caliber? - Take multishot (Greater boost) - Serration only, but fully moded weapon is near 90% status? - get multishot if you want 100% status (all bullets have 100% status effect, so with multishot you can get 3x status on every shot)Secondary: Fully moded Weapon is not near 90% status? - get Damage Fully moded weapon is near 90% status? - get multishot to obtain 100% status Edited September 2, 2017 by IfritKajiTora
0 Urlan
Unfortunately, you need both shots and damage, I would sadly re-roll the riven.

0 rudman88
reroll it. your rivens means reduce damage by 50% at lvl 10 / 8. So the benefit of the multishot is take by the negative damage. if you have this 2 stat, is as good as normal 90% element
