I'm in the council and I got no such invitation to vote on a name. Granted it's been like that in the past but seeing as they're tight on time and resources I can understand why they would vote on it internally. Pavelord Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 just to corroborate, there was no voting for this name, Silica was the first suggestion in the thread and the one with the most upvotes, and is not rare first page suggestions usually take the most votes as a lot of members don´t read all pages of the thread and making polls has prooved to be a long process that antagonizes the council members, there are also a large numbers of absent members or not regular of the forum that missed the call, DE has decided to make the council more of a brainstorming sessions with players rather than a contest that would marry them to a concept they may not like.
