Does the Brakk really do that much damage with Corrosive projection aura?

 

Afuris seems to have taken a massive hit but Brakk just improved after the patch, can't kill it in one magazine anymore. Pistol amp might help but that aura's not released and the dmg boost is op

 

Edit: ran again with Afuris, played around with mods and managed to get just over 3 seconds, Afuris needs more forma D:

About 13 seconds, but I could certainly squeeze more mods into it, either more damage or bigger clips to skip the reload phase.

Would get a 2% damage increase if you used 2X cold mods instead of Blast. Because blast has -25% vs armor?  Or why not go Magnum force instead?

Okay, back from testing again.

Uh, it might have been a fluke, but it gave me an accurate time of 5,26 which is a bit close to my time with out it, xD

On paper, the DPS should be way better though, so I don't exactly know. I think it requires more testing.

I think the main problem is that the boss's hp is too low.

I wish I had my Serration/Heavy Caliber still maxed, because that Braton Prime time seems to be way off of what it's actually capable of :P

Would be nice to have clarification on rifle amp etc, and sentinels. Sentinal is minimal difference at this speed, sure. But in that 20 second one, a 5 formad sential weapon would contribute quite a bit compared to say none.

 

Rifle amp and co have a major impact. And I don't think there's an equivalent for secondary. And I'm not sure about shottys and bows. A 27% difference between a primary and secondary is huge; on the other hand, in real gameplay these mods would be usable.  Whatever you decide, it would be great if you could state the policy.

Sentinels are not allowed. Take away its attacking skills/percept will do.

 

All auras (except those not official released) are allowed.

ah great. thanks for the tip on corrosive projection. not a fan of grineer and haven't used it yet. I'll throw it in.  Is the invasion over yet? (not at game computer)
