You got triggered and said words or a word, that got you banned, and feel it was a penalty that is way too harsh, and now you want your money back that you spent on Plat or you will never come back and you will tell everyone you know about, your poor experience with Warframe, and by the end of the night you will leave with your wallet, because other companies don't do what DE do with chat and you demand them to change. If you want change, don't use threats. Before looking at DE to change look at yourself and how you reacted to the troll which is the reason you got banned. NOw they might not have parts of the company in canada...corporate law has some neat ways to get around all the above , but me the citizen canada's laws apply hewer ever i am on the net. You chose to answered a question not knowing that the word gay would get you banned. I can see your point, if there is no list of banned words, and no doubt your surgery has exasperated the situation. I not saying your wrong, just your approach to finding a solution to it. This is not as simple as you perceive it to be. When operating globally, companies must consider both law and ethics of each location it provide service in. While the law may apply to DE, someone outside may find it appalling that the word "gay" could be use because it was label as not profane. Did DE abide to their law? Yes. Should they just then ignore the voice of those outside? The first amendment is also stipulated on the idea that government cannot impede free speech. There's nothing in there that says that people are required to host speech they deem offensive in private spaces. IOW, DE would be under no obligation to host OP's speech. IANAL, but the OP obviously isn't either. There's very likely no possible case OP could make to compel DE to allow OP to say whatever OP wants in their chats. Some words, even if you think they are innocuous, have been frequently used as slurs or insults and as a result have been added to the blacklist, which will result in kickbot automatically kicking and in some cases temporarily suspending users. Additionally, removing your chat privileges is not a violation of your rights to freedom of speech. Your civil rights to freedom of speech exists to guarantee you freedom of speech without persecution or punishment from the government, and only when you are speaking in a public and non-privately owned establishment or when you are publicly publishing something such as a book, an article, or a website. However because the in-game chat and these forums are considered a privately owned establishment, you are subject to the rules of the managing entity (the entity in this case being DE). You are a guest and are being allowed to participate here by DE, and as a result if you fail to follow the rules set forth by DE, they are well within their rights to remove your permissions to participate or remove you entirely from the premises (the forums or the game or both).
