Phoenix gaze still existing?

Hello! I've just come across something really weird... I was farming with a seemingly new player ( MR 6 and seemingly didn't really know the game yet. ) and suddenly I saw, that they use Phoenix gaze! I made few screenshots of this and the chat, where I've asked him how does he do that...

 

 

They said, that they didn't finish The War Within, but I'm not sure if it does actually explain this...

On completing The Second Dream, players will be granted a Focus gauge which slowly charges for a full three minutes (180 seconds), after which if used performs the Transcendence ability (default: 5 ); this temporarily summons their Operator in a spectral form for 10 seconds, firing a powerful Void Beam while also activating any Warframe passives related to the Focus tree. Completing The War Within replaces Trancendence with Transference.

I used Phoenix Gaze after Focus 2.0 once in one of the mastery tests. (finished TWW long ago)

I think it was a bug but in this case it's really likely it could have been a player with a pre TWW operator.

Yeah most likely someone between TSD and TWW.

MR6 is around the time a player gets to TSD.

It would be nice to have the Transcendence powers as Tenno ults in Operator mode; it would flesh out their combat flexibility...
But yeah, Second Dream focus powers still exist but can't be used once you complete War Within.

ive seen people with completely maxed focus schools and long ago finished every quest use phoenix gaze, no idea how or why, might be glitch im not sure tbh
