  1. This isn't necessarily true. I was finally offered to unlink my account, but it still doesn't solve my issue of not being able to merge so I didnt. You will have to fight support for them to finally offer this action though.
  2. Yeah and no one knew this would have happened either. Nor has DE come out to address it in any way besides silently adding a section to the merging FAQ after it was already posted. Ive already had several posts taken down or locked for calling them out for this instead of being given a proper answer.
  3. This is my second time making a post about this because, conveniently, I cannot seem to find my first post on this. Hiding or locking forum posts that criticize account merging and migration will not make your problem magically go away. If anything, it amplifies it by deliberately silencing players you have screwed over just so you can call this a success. Thousands of players migrated to the switch using one of their accounts and now we are completely barred from merging with accounts that are unrelated. This restriction was NEVER mentioned when we originally migrated, nor was it originally mentioned in the cross-save FAQ (it was added a few days after the initial publishing without announcement). Locking the FEEDBACK on the forums for feedback is incredibly deceptive and anti consumer. This comes after many of us submitted support tickets and were told to make forum posts where an employee would see and respond to it. I have yet to see a SINGLE employee even acknowledge these posts even more so actually respond to it. Nothing has come from the DevStreams or DevShorts either. It is incredibly frustrating knowing a company I have supported with hard earned time and money is completely okay essentially robbing people blatantly and then hiding the victims. The crosssave process has felt like a massive bait and switch built on an empty promise. All I truly want is my trials sekharas that aren’t available in-game anymore, yet support tickets go weeks without being answered. Even if they are answered; however, it’s a hollow answer that clearly evades the actual issue. The deception and lack of response is more akin to a mobile game than a AAA developer. Do better DE. This is criticism, not an attack on the developers. This is to be expected with an open “Feedback” forum.

  5. Im not asking for a manual merge at this point. I am asking for the cosmetic emblem you got from Law of Retribution. It does not affect my mastery in any way. I legit want to show loyalty to a game that is actively screwing over people who have played for years. I know support is able to place items in inventories if you can prove that you had it or didnt receive it. And for the question to be dodged without looking back is incredibly insulting. Thats honestly how they made it seem before they went back and changed the original webpage for it. They really baited and switched a lot of us
  6. Ive already seen a ton of posts in the same boat as us. I even reached out to support and was basically told "tough luck" and that Im screwed even for my items that arent in the game anymore. It feels like a massive bait and switch that came out of nowhere and punishes players who were guinea pigs to migrate.
  7. I migrated my Pc to Switch. I want to merge my Xbox and Pc account which are entirely unrelated to each other. I cant bc of my unfortunate and uneducated mistake years ago
  8. This is true if you want to merge the two migrated accounts, but it also prevents you from merging two completely unrelated accounts as well
  9. Its so upsetting to be shafted like this, especially when some of our accounts are several years old too. Some of the most dedicated players being left to dust like this is actual punishment for being loyal to the game :/
  10. Like a lot of people, I did the account migration from PC to Switch YEARS ago before Cross-Save and account merging were made official or really discussed. Nowhere in the process of migrating did DE warn that there could be any negative consequences to migrating. Yet suddenly, there are restrictions barring any account involved in a migration from merging, even if they want to merge with an account that didn't migrate. About a month ago, before they went on vacation, I submitted a ticket asking for clarification on these restrictions. I was simply told that because I had migrated one account I couldn't ever merge, even with my 8 year old 1400+ hour Xbox account that has limited-time items and trials rewards. I tried to ask if it would be possible then to just have *unleveled* versions of the items that I didnt already own on PC placed in my account and I would level up using my own time or AT LEAST get my trials cosmetics because those are incredibly important to me as I cannot get them any more. This time, the response I got was some basic copy-paste asnwer explaining how my support agent understood my frustration as they are a player too and completely dodged my question. Its incredibly disheartening having my questions dodged, making me feel like I'm being punished for migrating years ago without knowing what the consequences would be. Even more frustrating was the fact that my support agent kept closing my support ticket before ever letting me respond as if they had actually helped rather than copy and paste a basic rejection. I know I'm not the only player getting shafted by the complete Bait and Switch that DE pulled which makes this whole Account Merge restriction BS really disappointing. Ive really lost my desire to play recently because of all this. To put the cherry on top of it, I was told to make a forum post as it is more likely to be seen and get a response from a Dev. I've already made one post about it and commented on several others and I have YET to see a single dev actually respond to it or even acknowledge the massive let down they caused. The "support" for this is so disappointing and I hope that something is done to let us get our items we worked for.
  11. I would love to do that too. Submitted a ticket over a week ago asking if there was anything I could do and havent gotten a single response yet :/ I would be more than willing to unlink my switch and pc account and delete the switch account in order to merge my pc and xbox. Easily huindreds of dollars and over 1200 hours sunk into xbox with trials rewards that you cant even get anymore on that account, and I cant merge because I was one of the guinea pigs for migrating to switch years ago without warning :/
  12. I had the same issue. Copied to switch because they didnt EVER until 2 weeks ago say that this could happen. Now I cant merge my xbox and PC account. I have the trials rewards and have played for 8 years on that account but im being completely locked out of using them and risk deleting all of that progress bc DE didnt warn us years and years ago :/ Feels like a bait and switch
  13. That’s the thing. I have 1500 plat on pc and none on Xbox but my Xbox has more MR. I’m either losing on years of grinding and primes I don’t have on pc or I’m losing out on 1500 plat and trading it to be behind in virtually every aspect. Im absolutely not making my Xbox my primary account.
  14. When the switch version of warframe came out years ago, I migrated my PC account over thinking i would play it a lot. I didn't and ended up just sticking to my Xbox and put in 8 years on that account. Apparently, even after linking my switch and PC account today, the duplicate account from the migration still exists and I cannot merge my Xbox and PC accounts. Why cant I just have that duplicate deleted and still be able to merge? I feel robbed of the time and money I am about to lose because Digital Extremes didn't warn players YEARS ago that they wouldnt be able to merge if they migrated :/
