God forbid stuff takes time and effort to obtain instead of just getting 30 new items at once.

This isn't really anything new. Tons of clan weapons require loads of invasion only items as well which are limited as well. Nitan is definitely the slowest of the newest resources but as others have said you will over time have everything built and a stockpile.

Mate, are you really that blinded? EFFORT? Of what? Waiting game? Really? Maybe I should start playing at work, because new alert pops up. FML, get off your horse, white knight.

  2. Considering that currently you have to focus on grinding what is THE MOST boring boss fight in this game (Really, Kudos DE, that was hard to make after certain some), and soft locking focus around Quills - this makes no sense to do. Because, I cannot benefit enough from those nodes that much, that it will justify effort put. It is becoming "only for those who are bored to death with other stuff" thing.

Did you really expect an open world huge map add-on to the game that is way more than just a few more tilesets is working flawlessly right from the start? The match-making and extraction is terrible but the rest on the plains works like charm. I think they did a very good job from the mechanical point of view. Run'n'gun, enemy spawn, sound and visuals are top notch.

Matchmaking in a pseudo open world is new to Warframe and they need time to fix it or adjust it.

Archwing in PoE is far from perfect but it is working for a quick fly back to the base. And it does work better than sharkwing or the rush mode on Corpus ships. Here also, give them a bit of time.

That is my general advice: wait 3-4 weeks and then start enjoying it. Most bugs will be ironed out, the economy will scale better and you will have plenty of guides how to farm what the most efficient way.

It is not as good as Harrow's quest or as intriguing as Octavias's but it more fleshed out than the old quest like Limbo or Mirage.

Honestly try to see the things they did good.

Yeah I really HOPE that they have enough PEOPLE working on updates, that they SEE things like reusable blueprints, item costs, not working quests, and awful rep locked crafting of additional stuff. That this team really makes it with actually listening to people.

This is not about seeing "good", but giving them a sense of knowing, that they CAN'T just release unfinished, unbiased stuff and hope that all will be good. They can't punish people with testing, and then change things like it was a'ok.

Also, everything working like a charm? Are you kidding me? Mechanical points are just repeating all same type of mission again, and bugged as hell, being so few.

And as an older player, I am bashing at things, which were present years ago, and are rotating to be present again. They had almost hit the golden spot, and declined from that to mindless rng again. This is NOT what I expect from DE and Warframe. Live with it.

  4. 1. Gara and her parts.

    2. Fishing - spawns, parts and their interlock with lures, etc.

    3. Eidolons which are NOT fun to take down, only stupid as bullet sponge + operator nuisance.

    4. Rarest mining nodes, which are spawning like...

    5. Archwing charges requirements and limit.

    6. Bugframe, as a cherry on top + twitch fail.

    7. Also, changing economy as it goes without rewarding players who actually dedicated their time.

Please, consider removing Q/A team, if they fail to do their job at this point in game. Set aside PTR server for people, as many other games do. Frame quests are now just forced, and tbh, feel rushed in terms of both writing and execution. And the after grind that occurs for their parts... AS if we don't have enough grind to actually grind.

You, as a dev, should know after all this years, that what makes Warframe best space shooter around was not it's grind for mats, but mowing down hordes with smile.

Before I spend another 2 hours looking for them with no results, I wonder if there's maybe some special mechanic like with baits working only on hotspots.

I already have the T3 cutter, I've just roamed the whole map twice mining everything, both in and outside caves, with no luck.

    Is there anything I'm missing?

TBH, this is another time DE proved that RNG is not good within this game. Try running around caves, those with actual tunnels.

  6. So, another 2-3 weeks, and we will get content that SHOULD have been done by launch time. Great job DE, another open beta test on us. Also, how are you going to rewards players that actually spent time FARMING gazillion things before you changed rules again?

Really, just fire all in Q/A

I don't agree. I thought the campaign was a genious Idea and worked pretty well (at least for me), considering the big launch.

The different Twitch campaigns fit a free-to-play game really well.

What do you not agree to? That they make you re-do already done stuff? Or, that they didn't test it properly and locked content behind it?

Big launch. Lately, every major patch is a big launch in game dev, considering bugs and not working features.

  8. I get it that you partner with Twitch for money and stuff, but linking stuff that is unobtainable other way and failing to deliver because of lack of testing is not the way to go. Also, your silly resolution as to "remove" achievements for partners, so they HAVE to grind it again, is insulting to both us, and them.

Just give up with this nonsense, and stop making "exclusive" content this way.

    Copied from patch notes:

Saving your Progress on the Plains happens in a number of ways - most of which are automatic!

    1) If you return to Cetus through the gates at any point, your mission concludes and all progress is saved.
    2) If you return to your Landing Craft via the escape menu.
    3) All progress is automatically saved on completing Bounties or Incursions.
    4) Fishing, Mining, or using consumables results in a specific save of that content (fish caught, minerals extracted, consumables used).

So you don't have to return to cetus to save progress

Well, except that for MANY people it doesn't. Which is a bug, and should be addressed first and foremost. Because there is nothing more annoying than losing stuff because of server/patch faults.

There was talk from the devs somewhere about resources collected constantly saving when you're on the plains, in case of a crash or something similar. That doesn't seem to be the case now, though.

Also, the first time I killed a limb on an Eidolon, one of our team members got killed by the surprise explosion at the end and couldn't pick up the exceptional core we'd all worked so hard for thanks to that lol-insta-death move they snuck in. If the Eidolons weren't so bullet spongey and didn't have instakill moves 'just because', I'd say 4 revives would be balanced. As it is now, it's not.

They made it because our operator /whatever/ is invincible to them in Void mode. So, another way to "play" with operator - forced as with Kuva, etc.

I'm still not having any trouple one-shotting anything that isn't a Lvl 75+ special unit with her first ability and even on them I deal 2k damage with only her 1 ability (Bombards, napalms, heavy gunners).

    Besidses, the knockdown is nice..

Edit: This is still with only a maxed Intensify.

I don't bite that dmg, because doing Bounty on 60+ lvl Grineer shows numbers reduced. Very, very reduced.

  12. And why do I want a shooter turn into farming simulator for instance? Fishing is not mandatory in many MMO games, and WF is not even close to that market. Right now I am feeling we will be fed another Ark, or other mediocre gather/grind/fight game, instead of things that made WF into best F2P coop game.

I get why people are upset  about this, but at the same time...

Guys...the fish oil is fuel. In space we can use ion propulsion due to zero air resistance, in water we can use electrolysis to break down the water into hydrogen for fuel, but in Earth's atmosphere we need some sort of fuel to fly our archwings. You could argue that we could use the fuel from our landing craft, but at the same time that may be too high-octane or prohibitively expensive to be used willy-nilly on traveling in-mission.

While I'm somewhat annoyed at not having immediate access to the Skywing feature, I'm mostly okay with how it's going to turn out. DE's setting up a system where every so often you'll have to return to the Plains (or another open world area) to gather materials to support our Archwing. They're encouraging what is ostensibly semi-frequent shore-leave for the Tenno. You can look at it as a burdensome chore, or you can look at it as a way to break away from the grind in the rest of the game and relax with some fishing. Personally, I'm choosing the latter.

And fish oil is such an effective fuel... If you look at this from that point of view, there are gazillion better resources to actually devote to "fuel" crafting. As stupid as it already was made.

No, charges are blatant, half baked approach at making people farm fishes. Which is tedious and boring for most, but required because DE said so. Simple as that.

  14. I understand that filling gaps and introducing new side content is fun, but, is it required to shove it up our throats that we need to fish, and do it grindy, with non-reusable lures, locked behing fish parts too? And, 1 hour craft time, just to actually make other stuff?

I actually can justify need to place fishing and mining in craftin materials/parts, but not everything else, like archwing, rep standings, etc.

It's the same slope as with operator - you as a dev, are forcing us to actually enjoy which is not, for a majority of my fellow players, enjoyable. Or, you are turning away from those types of customers, who wanted to play Warframe, not survival sim? It's enough to grind for affi/focus/whatever, and tons of other materials...

Thats why its important to revive each other in the plain or long missions.

This is not an answer - since every other part of the game enables you to evacuate safely even with people down. And also, playing in public enables you to others stupidity, which results sometimes in them dying because they wander off. Should we be punished for that?

Uhh, her 1st ability deals 11k damage for me with just a simple Intensify. Just saying.

And falls of when enemies have armour. Which in Plains, every Grineer has ;)

agree to disagree new is not always good but neither is old. and her getting height add will not upset any other frames or future ones since it will be exclusive to her only and i have new problem at all with new mechanics breaks up the boring.

This is no exclusive mechanic in this game if you think of it this way. Simply put, works exactly the same from mechanical point of view as Banshee Quake when cast + Vauban Bastille when finished - combined. Both of them have larger height management, so to speak.

  18. 6 hours ago, EinheriarJudith said:

she is for most parts duration range frame so having range boost height shouldnt be a problem because you should be specing it anyway.

Simply no, because it will incline new design "feature", and we don't need another one. Since all other frames have it made into cone/globe/line/whatever without height restriction on regular ground basis, we don't need new middle style for that.

  19. Vitrify would be good if it worked as intended - in that it stops enemies in an instant - because of her "cast" time, and follows terrain/has globe/bastille style.

Else than that, her 1 is weak above 40, 2nd is a self def only tool later on (damage + reduction), and 3rd is just pure lazy job on a skill.

From what I read for DE's latest additions, they spend too much time making this frame not too much OP on 1-30 levels of enemies. But this is bS#&$, because we rarely play such a low level when we reach whatever endgame is. Frame needs to be relible in sortie, not on a map tbh.

BTW, had a lot more CC from her passive than actual skills :)
