Refering to people using Vacuum as lazy is a prime example of an ad hominem.

Nope, that's a generalisation as he's relating to a reason as to "why" a thing happens, an ad hominem is directed at a persons character or motive in order to detract or cast doubt on their point. He does not know the person, to make a character attack, but he can make a generalisation that ppl use carrier because they are lazy... Which may be an assumption, but it's not an ad hominem.

It doesn't have as much to do with laziness as it does with efficiency.

You're guilty of ad hominems and biased opinions.

... That is some poor use of logical fallacies mate, you may wish to look up the meaning of such terms as 'ad hominem' and 'biased' as currently you're using them incorrectly.

I wish I was, my friend, I wish I was... I encountered that problem in an Axi Rescue. We failed the mission multiple times, because the target just kept getting annihilated, as well as anyone that tried to rez it.

And yes we did bring guns... And good luck popping 10 bubbles while everything is shooting at you from seven different directions at once.

Wait, they can do that? Oh.... Sholy Hit....

Noting I can say without being rude, we've never have an issue on Axi missions...

Oh yeah, they can be annoying to find.

Well... Let me try to explain it to you this way.

Be a squishy Warframe that relies a lot on powers. You go into a Axi Corpus Fissure Mission, everything is dandy, until you go through the door and enter a room just to be greeted not by one,two or even three Gold or Blue Bubbles but ten to fifteen. But that's not all, you have a lot of Corrupted Lances, Corrupted Crewman, Corrupted Heavy Hitters, a bunch of normal Corpus guys, Moas, Ospreys, hek why not throw in one or two bursas.

That is the problem with Nullifiers. Their spawnrate is so broken, that at random times you get so many that you don't know which one you kill first, because the room is chockfull of them. Of course that doesn't happen all the time and is mostly restricted to fissure missions, but if it happens, it is hell on whatever-the-planet-you-are-on.

I hope that helped you understand things a little better.

I don't think I have ever seen that scenario doing a Axi fissure mission... Me thinks you may be over exaggerating somewhat, Don't you guys bring guns? 2 sprays with a braton and the bubble is gone, I'm just not feeling the difficulty ppl seem to be complaining about so often.

I was hosting the match to Draco and I got kicked. I shouldn't have been kicked.

It used to be that the person adding ppl to the group was host, but recently they seem to have changed how hosting works to a more peer-to-peer system where the host is determined by the best (central location), so you thinking you are host may not be true.

That's not going to happen anytime in the near future because of the sheer amount of work necessary to get that done. There are currently 30 unique Warframes and 4 unique Archwings, which would result in 120 different interactions between Warframes and Archwings. Every new Warframe created would need to be given 4 Archwing interactions. Every new Archwing created would need to be given 30 Warframe interactions, and Archwing doesn't need another hindrance to getting new content implemented.

While you are right, and I not suspect to see it any time soon, I was just just saying, that that would be basically the only thing to get me interested in archwing...

And a bit of hyperbole there, as far as I'm aware Prime Frames do not have any special abilities compared to their regular version... So, normal and Prime would be the same.

  7. I feel like Archwing is just a gimmick, I find it annoying, I don't want to waste any resources on it and your actual frame is irrelevant in it. I cannot be stuffed doing missions for it...

Maybe if each frame combined with each archwing to provide a magical experience I might care. ATM, I don't find it fun at all...

let's get radical, bolto prime and boltlace prime. Bolto family is definetely too small and could use an expansion.

on more serious note: As much I fancy idea of dethcube prime, it's a grineer toy (used by G3 and Executioner Nok), so wraith if anything. Which I'd advocate very strongly.

My propositions for prime? The usual, his majesty akmagnus. Tiberon. Any AW weapon. I fell in love idea of panthera prime.
Just please, let's have one PA without signature melee weapon in it. Seriousily, last PA w/o melee was ash, and that was a year ago.

Wiki has dethcube listed under Tenno weaponry...

That annoys me a bit. Since I've been waiting for a 75 percent discount for months now and haven't gotten it... I would buy the max package (200 dollars, 75 percent off so 50 dollars) every time they have given it to me but lately i haven't gotten any. I've gotten one 50 percent but I didn't use it.

I was in the same boat, had the cash sitting waiting for that day that it came... In the end Nek P. Presented itself and the cash went to that... But 1 75% off a month or something would likely always be used, where as 3 in a month for a new player, 2 might not, I think DE would benefit from playing both games, but they seem to ignore the older players in this case, I'm not sure why. An oversight maybe.

  10. DE clearly has a plan here.

    1. I have some founder friends, who say they have basically never seen more than a 50% off.

    2. I had about six 75% offs in the first few months I started playing, a few of which I still had a lot of plat left from the last, and I didn't use them.

    3. Now that I have been playing for about 4-5 months, I just don't see any, I waited for ages for one to pop up before Nek P. (I got a pack for it) and it never came, still has not.

Seems like new players always get a heap of discounts but players who have been around for ages get few.

I see a trend here, DE gives out a lot of discounts to new players so they spend money early and then have more incentive to keep playing as opposed to having no plat and a lot of time required to get anywhere. It's a common retail tactic to sell something for $50 at say $200 then use a discount to reduce to to the original cost they would normally sell it at, makes you feel like you're getting something really good at a really good price.

Have a look at this explanation by extra credits, Ignore all the Firefall stuff, it's irrelevant and flopped hard anyway.

sounds like that Rhino doesn't know what he's doing because he's completely relying on Iron Skin, and therefore is useless. he could help the team, but nah.

I took in my Rhino P. With Maxed out Iron Skin, and was the one doing all the work, we finished it easy enough...

  12. I can't remember a time when this was not a bug, I don't know what triggers it, as sometimes it happens and other times it does not.

But it's one of the reasons why farming with a Carrier is just an irritation in a group.

    The problem:

Every so often a player with a carrier will vacuum a drop and that drop for everyone else in the group will vanish off the playable map, sometimes 1000's of meters away, the original player to pick it up can still tag it, being able to see its residual glow light. But the item for everyone else will be inaccessible.

This has been in the game for as long as I can remember, And somehow I have not seen another thread on it,

This was particularly annoying in the acolyte missions, as it would happen to the red drops from the acolytes, we started resorting to either leave the mission to not have to deal with it, or having to inform the people with a carrier that they need to stay out of the fight, till everyone else has got the pick up.

We had a guy miss out on 3 orokin cells because of this bug, it's a massive inconvenience.

I'll make an effort to get some real pic from a few ppl in game at the same object, else I jst have this one from my view...
