  1. Well...except the portal itself. if the bubble touched the portal, it should automatically collapse it. However, yes, the beam should NOT be affected by a Nullifier's bubble, because simple logic.
  2. Figured that I'd fix and bold that for emphasis / get attention if you don't mind.
  3. No they didn't and I never said that either. But vets DID complain about alerts not being rewarding enough for them - and I did say that. DE is very much responsible for taking the hamfisted / dramatic approach to tweaking / changing things. DE is at least mostly to blame for the increase in grind. I'd argue that people hoarding resources didn't exactly help though, as that had a very big effect on what DE did next. Although putting out several resource sinks and increasing grind that also served to punish more casual players was arguably the WRONG response to the situation.
  4. Thanks for posting those pics btw. Reminds me a bit of home (South Africa). Also, upvoted. PoE looks so much better and more immersive since they added more trees and bushes.
  5. I have two short words for that suggestion: Hek no.
  6. As of build 25.1, my clan is still missing 17k clan affinity. Please fix this. Note: Completing Komorex research GAVE me 3k affinity as it should have.
  7. As of 25.1, my clan is still missing a huge chunk of XP. Note: completing Komorex research GAVE me XP.
  8. Thanks again for another update / hotfix. The implementation of fixes and changes that help benefit the Warframe experience are all greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I don't see any mention of fixes and solutions for the following bugs and issues in the update notes, so here's a polite reminder. - Broken animations and fx / sfx for Sarpa if attack speed is modded too high. - Loss of functionality of Exalted melee weapons when playing as a Client. - Completing Cyanex research removes 17k xp from Clan xp progress (confirmed this myself). - Completing Komorex research removes 20k xp from Clan xp progress (reported by other players, could actually be 3k xp). - Host migrations on Defense missions can randomly reset some player scores to zero while leaving one player's scores intact. This happens after players elect to leave or stay for the next set of waves. - Host Migrations NOT "pausing" the game at times, wherein enemies will still attack and do damage to the player. This has been an issue for years and it can be game-breaking. - Host Migrations sometimes resulting in a failed mission with a loss of all rewards and pickups. - Garuda's Talons resetting to inactive / un-deployed position after performing a stealth kill when no other melee weapon is equipped. - Weapons glitching occasionally when Baruuk switches out from Serene Storm. - Nitain being locked behind Nightwave credits and a very unreliable reward system (Sabotage & Cetus Bounty, the latter only when Ghouls are present). - Prosecutors fail to spawn on Exterminate, Survival and Defense nodes on Ceres. - Most Arch-guns being mediocre in comparison to regular, high MR ranged weapons when used as ground weapons. - Loss of sfx for Baruuk's orbiting daggers when they transfer to other players when playing as a Client. - When Serene Storm is active, right-clicking switches out from his Desert Wind exalted melee to the last ranged weapon used, forcing players to switch back to Desert Wind. - Nekros Shadows being affected by Renewal, thus posing a massive and unreasonable energy drain on Oberon players. - Nyx, Vauban and Wukong being underwhelming and almost completely out-classed by meta damage 'Frames such as Saryn, Mesa, Volt, Equinox, etc. - Saryn, Mesa, Volt, Equinox and Mag still being arguably non-coop friendly by being able to dominate / nuke small defense maps with ridiculous ease. All players should be able to contribute and participate in missions in meaningful ways, not be bored to tears because someone decided to delete most of the enemies for everyone with a powerful and easy to spam ability. - Ability to turn Banshee's Soundquake on and off quickly and repeatedly, generating pulses of high damage that can readily and easily clear small maps. - Spin 2 Win dominating melee due to Maiming Strike being always available while conferring massive bonuses to an easily spammable attack move capable of rapidly clearing maps. Maiming Strike being made reliant on Channeling to circumvent this...when? - The Wolf of Saturn Six being a boring bullet-sponge and gear-check enemy that punishes players for head-shotting and who rewards us for our troubles with a sub-par drop table that has mods you can easily get anywhere else. Yes he's "weaker" now...but he's still a boring sponge that requires little skill but substantial effort to neutralize. A Nox is a more interesting and reasonable opponent than the Wolf. I mention this because we know he will be back at some point. - Energy colors being bugged / broken for certain Warframes, weapons, accessories, and abilities. You're getting there though! - Arguably lackluster rewards for Arbitrations. - Domestik aka "Corpus Roomba" - a mobile cosmetic - costing significantly more than a Sentinel. 100p for something that does nothing but run around? When 75p gets you a Sentinel with a weapon and abilities? Try 35 - 50p. Also, it would be really appreciated if you all could: - Allow us, if it's possible, to opt out of certain Warframe abilities (such as Volt's Speed and Limbo's Rift portals) via a game preference toggle. We can turn off Octavia's sounds for other players because of how intrusive they can be, so why not potentially intrusive abilities? Not everyone wants to be Banished or wind up running around like a Russian Dwarf Hamster on meta-amphetamines. Win-win for all, with no need for a player to have to "manually opt out" by rolling / dodging every time an intrusive ability is activated and winds up adversely affecting said player. - Buff fashion frame / customization a bit and give us a color wheel picker to choose colors from. Grey out color blocks on the wheel that are associated with pallets that a player doesn't own. - Bring back manual blocking for melee. Because 1. stances and a couple of mods use blocking and 2. auto-blocking can be really inconvenient and irritating. - Make Ogris fun again and give it a semi-auto trigger. Make the rockets only detonate after they've traveled 6m (at least), for obvious safety reasons. - Bring back regular Alerts for players that either can't or don't want to deal with Nightwave. We players appreciate having options and Nightwave hasn't been new player friendly. - Lower the credit cost to build Ephemera to 10k credits and drop the resource costs by 90%. It's a purely cosmetic item that does nothing but leave footprints / trails that disappear after a few seconds. Also, if these are supposed to be a prestige item / badge of honor...they need to be a GUARANTEED reward when reaching a particular milestone. If not, lower the grind needed to acquire them please. Thanks for reading. No, I couldn't care less if certain points I've made here are unpopular or not. Yes, I know this is a hot-fix.
  9. Interesting how almost all the other posts around here that justify Hema's expense / grind have been rather opinionated, antagonistic, demeaning, hand-wavy...in short, not constructive at all. Funny that...
  10. Wow...the lack of empathy and sheer level of condescending white knighting is really strong in this thread. It's amazing the lengths that people will go to to justify unreasonable design decisions...including the obligatory "git gud" and "suck it up" posts. Yes, the Hema is mediocre. Yes, I've tried the Hema - with some throwaway Plat that I saved up. No I did not research the Hema for my clan and I point blank refuse to because it's nothing but a lousy resource sink that ultimately punishes casual players for the hoarding behavior of no-lifers and try-hards. No, it's definitely not worth the hassle of researching / hardcore grinding for (at least for me). There are arguably better things to go after and farm for, so don't waste your time on the Hema if you're relatively new to the game. it's not worth the 5k xp clan affinity, that's for sure. Just because someone throws a shiny stick for you to go fetch, doesn't mean you and everyone else has to go chase after it like obedient dogs.
  11. I'd say it isn't. Other players would and do agree with me on that. This. We used to have 1 reliable way of acquiring Nitain: Alerts. Out of all the Alerts that popped up every day, 4 were guaranteed to offer Nitain. You could get at least one per day by running a single mission. Even with a busy schedule that permitted running only 1 Nitain Alert a day, that's 7 Nitain a week. If you ask me, that was fairly reasonable as most recipes didn't call for that much Nitain anyway (Excluding Vauban Prime). But some vets just had to go and whine about Alerts being bad / not good enough to satisfy their entitled butts and complained at length to DE about it. So DE listened to them and no one else, yanked regular Alerts in a really ham-fisted move, and saddled us with Nightwave. They only thing that's useful about Nightwave is being able to buy potatoes and some of the rewards offered. Yes alt helms and Vauban are things you can get in Nightwave, but a bit pointless if you already have those. Also, Vauban needs to be in the Tenno Labs but that's another topic altogether. No, having Nitain as a buyable item in the Nightwave "store" wasn't all that reliable, especially when Wolf creds were only available as rewards for meeting certain milestones that were spread out through the event.
  12. Indeed, making lots of exceptions to rules is never a smart move because people like, want, and expect consistency. We want things to make sense. We expect things to follow patterns. That's part of how brains work. You make things inconsistent, we get understandably irked by that. Seriously DE, if you have to break the rules just to get your special new units to survive longer....maybe you should be looking at why you'd need to break those rules in the first place and fix THAT. Hint: It's probably the powercreep in the form of arguably OP mods and weapons you've been foisting on us for a while.
  13. That qualifies as leeching and I'm better than that.
  14. I know - that's why I included that issue in my list a couple of weeks ago. My list isn't just about stuff I've noticed, but issues that other people have run into as well. I just want to make sure that things that are clearly broken get noticed and fixed. We all lift together...eh, Tenno?
  15. Yeah, but our ability to trivialize even "high level" content with OP gear and CC really needs looking at as well. Also, dumping a ton of HP into a unit that does hefty damage or is capable of 1hit killing isn't really challenging either: It's just boring and frustrating, rather than being a test of skill and perseverance. Look at the Wolf of Saturn Six. He's a sponge made of armor with armor on top of that. He's immune to most abilities and status effects. He requires a specific damage type to kill and requires critical hits for extra damage...yet takes LESS damage from head shots. In short, he has to cheat in order to survive the most punishing loadouts we can muster and provide a "challenge". But he isn't even truly challenging. He's just a massive tank that dishes out damage. No interesting move sets or abilities. No tweaked AI that allows him to occasionally block incoming fire when he's not attacking or even the ability to dodge. No other weapons except that hammer. He's boring, dumb, and little more than a brick wall to knock down. He's nothing but a test of patience and ammo capacity. Challenge is being able to overcome an enemy that's better equipped than you. That's a bit hard to achieve when we have abilities, weapons, and mods that allow us to crush most level 30-40 enemies with relative ease. I've said this before, but if you all want some real challenge, you're going to be have to be willing to give up some power to get that challenge. How does this relate to the Wukong Rework? Simple. I want him to be inspired, interesting and varied. I want him to be able to play well with other Frames and be a team asset. Most importantly, I don't want him to be able to go into Hydron or ESO and say "Hey guys! That's a really nice fight you have going on there. It would be a real shame if I clicked this ability and deleted more than half the enemies on the map, wouldn't it?" Because this is what Frames like Saryn and Equinox do on a regular basis and we don't need another damn map clearer.
  16. Trust me, I'm not the only person so there's a glimmer of hope. To clarify, the only thing that makes Saryn's rework "bad" in my eyes are two fold. First is her ability to scale and thus overcome the very roadblocks that are supposed to impede our progress. Second is how ridiculously ease it is for Spores to spread and multiply, coupled with how quickly they kill. Other than that, Saryn's kit's in a very good place: There's finally some synergy between abilities and everything in her kit has a viable use. The problem is that Molt and Toxic Lash are largely superfluous when you can delete a massive crowd with a couple of popped Spores followed up by Miasma. If there are some sounds I've come to really hate in pub games, it's the sound of Miasma spam and spores popping. Because it means that once again, someone's going to do all the killing and everyone else gets to either sit around or fight over scraps. Seriously, when I realize there's a Saryn in a game, I just say, "Saryn again? I'm out" and leave. It's really pointless to stay. NO - going to recruit is NOT a reasonable option. I shouldn't have to make a custom game and go to recruit because DE allows unbalanced crap that is exploited on a daily basis to exist.
  17. That's the problem...when he's inspired. And "good job" is a questionable description. That's a funny way of saying Saryn's rework came out horribly overpowered and with little consideration for other players and the hefty bonuses that mods can provide. Because that rework is objectively unbalanced and thus bad. When a Frame can delete dozens of enemies within seconds with minimal effort on Hydron and ESO, which a lot of players can and will testify to, that's stupidly overpowered and needs to be addressed. Arguably, only incredibly naive players and self-serving kill hogs would think that this is perfectly ok and call her rework "great". Nezha is in a somewhat better place than before, but I still see lots of people using Fire Walker and Warding Halo the vast majority of the time and maybe Divine Spears once in a while. That's putting it mildly. Keep him away from Vauban then. Scott? We love you. All is forgiven.
  18. Yes, Ember was handled very badly and I see your point. I appreciate your being a bit clearer on this. While I might not necessarily agree with everything you've said, I do respect your point of view, I acknowledge that do make some valid points, and I appreciate your wish to keep this on topic and civil. That said, thank you.

  20. Doesn't seem to spawn on Survival or Defense...or even Spy - of all missions. Prosecutor is supposed to be - and used to be - a guaranteed spawn every 5 waves of Defense and every 5 minutes of Survival. Tested that today and never showed, even after 10 Waves of Defense and 20 minutes of Survival. This is a progression stopper for new players, as killing a Prosecutor is a REQUIREMENT for accessing a Junction. DE, please fix this.
  21. I did give it thought...and then felt my build serves my needs better. You have a problem with that? There are few things more arrogant than assuming too much about what people do or think - based on scant evidence no less - and then believing you're completely correct in your assumptions. And you did that just now. Also, I don't listen to advice from people that barge in and say "You're wrong because I say so / my build is superior"...I listen to suggestions from players - you know things like "Hey I noticed you're doing x to achieve z. Maybe if you tried y, you could get better results? It works for me". See the difference? One person is being a pushy, self-important jerk. The other is trying to be helpful. Guess who I'm going to listen to? I'll give you a hint: It's not the jerk. *cough* That sounds an awful lot like someone telling me what I'm allowed to build for a group.
  22. Last I heard mentioned, they had 264 employees but that was several months ago. That's not exactly "small". https://www.glassdoor.com/Overview/Working-at-Digital-Extremes-EI_IE238612.11,27.htm Looking at those figures and considering the support they have from their owners, they can afford to hire someone that can help out in terms of making Steve's and Scott's intentions and visions real and balanced. That's part of the problem: Class synergy and whether those classes fit the Frame's theme properly or not. That's a matter of opinion. Some of the recent UI work that's been pushed has arguably been a step backwards in terms of usability. See Relics. Yes, his UI stuff works (in that it functions) and looks nice, I won't deny that. But that's all the good I can honestly say about it. I did notice...but do you have any proof that the ability kits for Garuda, Revenant, Hildryn, and Wisp were Pablo's responsibility? Because (thanks to the dev streams I may add) I was under the very distinct impression that those were Scott's creations. If so, Scott's the reason those Frames are well rounded, not Pablo. And to be honest, Scott is fairly consistent with regard to coming up with fairly well-rounded ability sets. He strikes me as being more conservative in his approach to things - while Steve tends to push boundaries hard - but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
  23. Fair, but I feel like more often than not he fails to take other players into consideration when brainstorming and tinkering. He also strikes me as being a bit of a troll at times when it comes to him dealing with players. Also, he's a UI guy. What's a UI guy doing working on a Warframe's abilities? Don't they have people to do that very job?
  24. Hair of the King fits nicely actually and comes straight from established lore. So kudos for that. With regard to lore, I'm actually a bit surprised that DE hasn't considered giving him the ability to summon protective circles, although I can kind of understand leaving out his ability to freeze enemies. His rework sounds interesting enough for me to want to actually consider picking him up, but... Yeah, just a reminder that this is the same "amazing" Pablo that gave us Saryn the Nuker *slow clap* People only worship Pablo because he's allow some of us to wrack up ridiculous kill counts at the expense of the rest of the squad. Hey Pablo! Co-op play is a thing! It means cooperating and playing well with others! Yes, I'm extremely wary of him working on Wukong - and Vauban for that matter. I fear he'll either trivialize everything in sight or be just as mediocre as before, but in a different and more convoluted way...and still not play well with others / benefit groups.
  25. Actually, I'm going to continue to completely ignore it because it's nothing but an arrogant opinion regarding a build. First and foremost...Neither you nor he get to say what I and others can and can't do with Oberon. Secondly, the claim that people don't care about heal over time is nothing more than a presumptuous, sweeping generalization based on anecdotal evidence. So? My Rage 250+ Strength build allows me to not just heal up the group nicely and make them more resistant to damage, but it also allows me inflict some heavy damage in addition to doing CC and armor stripping (where applicable). Oh yeah, and remove status / kill things in a wide area. I might not be able to compete with Saryn for kills (then again, she's stupidly OP anyway), but I can rack up a pretty respectable score with abilities alone, all while keeping the team alive and kicking.
