  1. For Acts related to the open worlds. I'd really prefer if they didn't specify ether Cetus/plains or Fortuna/orbvallis. I have more Fortuna resources than I'll ever need. But I can't say the same for Cetus. So it feels like a massive waste of time when nightwave directs me to mine or fish in the vallis as getting more of those resources gains me nothing except the nightwave standing, which is fine I guess, but it would be nice if it also allowed us to go for what we need at the moment, instead of restricting our choices unnecessarily.

  2. Or now that the ability to solo extract has been added. The option to instant-extract would be nice. I'v had players deliberately stand in front of extraction and wait out the timer just to annoy everyone else. I even have a friend that does this frequently and it's really aggravating. This would mitigate that issue as well. Tho the constant host migrations this could cause would be really annoying.

Side suggestion: Seemless host migration. Seriously sort that S#&$ out DE plz

  3. It sounds like the issue here is mainly with extraction being slow because newer players get left behind by people better at the movement system.

If extraction is the only point here that really matters than the solution is obvious. Not a teleport to player option, but a teleport to extraction option. Only if there is at least one player currently at extraction of course.

    All possible exploitation solved.

  4. Lowering the open world bounty act requirement was really nice. But forcing us to do different bounties, instead of being able to do the same one repeatedly is not. Seriously if you're gonna force us to play a game mode we don't want to, at least let us farm ether the fastest one to get it over with, or one that gives us drops that we want. This is a particularly annoying change right now during plaguestar. When everyone would be wanting to run the event bounty, but are forced to do other ones to complete the act. Its also unfair to new players (as most of nightwave is), who might not be able to clear the higher level ones. They ether have to get carried or wait the 2 hours for the bounties to reset. Everything about forcing us to do different bounties is terrible, and makes doing the 5 worse than the 8 it was previously.

  5. Submit a support ticket. https://digitalextremes.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

"Submit a request" option at the very top of the page, select the "Arsenal & Inventory" option, and "Polarization & Reactor/Catalyst" under category

I've seen a post by DE staff encouraging players to submit a support ticket in the event of this exact issue, tho I can't find that post again. Shouldn't have much trouble.

  6. The thermia fractures event gives bonuses to loot and affinity gained in the orb valis during the event if players are taking out enough fractures. The problem with this is, after you've done the 100 fractures to get the opticor vandal, there's no incentive AT ALL to do them anymore, and so we will never see those bonuses again after the event first went live as not enough players have any reason to continue doing it. You'll never have to fight the exploiter enough times to go through all the thermia you get from those 100 fractures. I didn't even go through half of it and I have enough resources that I'll never need to mine, or fish in the vallis, or farm for vox solaris standing again. I'M NOT saying to nerf exploiter's drops. please don't do that, if you haven't already. I'm saying we need more reasons to do the fractures. Reasons that'll get those bonuses back up. Make it a way to farm the different variants of toroids more effectively, exchange excess thermia with a vendor for rewards, anything. Any additional reason to farm fractures past the 100 mark. The event desperately needs it.

3 Orokin Cells as a price? Cmon guys you can do better. Is almost like a mocking move u.u

should be 10. get enough to craft a prime at least. just about anyone can get just 3 probably faster than it takes to complete 10,000 standing worth of acts

  8. Please stop with the acts that require you to spend forma for any reason. When I want to forma my equipment I do it, and when I need to guild something I do it. I don't have a backlog of equipment I can just dump forma onto, and I have many other things that I need my very limited amount of forma for. Its not a challenge its just a resource AND time sink. Forcing us to spend resources we don't want to spend on items we don't need to spend them on and then have to re level them again unnecessarily. No one wants to have to wait to do something because they know it'll pop up as an act later and if they do it earlier it'll screw them over. For the cost alone it should count as an elite act instead of a basic one. No other act so far is quite as bad as these ones.

  9. they really should just make items that can't be reobtained like this unsellable to begin with. there are a few items in the game like that already, umbra and his sword for example. its really stupid for the game to allow you to lose these items at all let alone make it impossible to get them back. I hate to say that this is one field where destiny 2 beats warframe. every piece of equipment that's been obtained in that game can be bought again from the collections screen for some materials. its a really fantastic way of dealing with this problem.

when it comes to a login reward weapon tho DE should just be able to check that your account has been logged in enough days that it should have that item. I don't think you can even get lodestar armor without getting azima even with the new choice system. they should be able to prove without a reasonable doubt weather your account should have that item or not with that information. sales logs would be unnecessary.

heck that's the case for most items like this in the game. usually some other bit of information present in the account should be able to confirm if the item was at one point owned or not. completed quests can confirm previously owning one off items from it. days logged in for login rewards as iv said, in addition to comparing other owned rewards. most events have data permanently attached to the account that can confirm if you've completed the requirement for a (currently) one off event item like the zylok. there are loads of ways support could prove you owned the item you say you did without going through your sale logs. sounds like they're just being lazy.

support staff for just about every game I've ever played that I've needed to contact support on has been unbearably lazy and unhelpful.

  10. Was in cetus looking at old man suumbaat's shop and I just noticed how attractive those balls of endo sitting on one of his shelves look.

Just thought they would make great looking decorations for your orbiter/dojos.

    Warframe0161.jpg

nevermind that atayan sculpture that's been there forever

  11. minor clipping like this is all over the place. most of the syandana's clip all over everything, half the operator cosmetics clip with each other when wearing mismatched ones, some armor clips with some warframes. a lot of leg armors clip through volt's knees. and volt prime's armor, which is designed to be worn by him specifically, clips through his arms in places. nidus' mutations clip through most arm armors. nearly every primary and mele weapon when holstered but not hidden will clip with pretty much every syandana and even some bare warframes. nearly every secondary when holstered clips with the syrinx leg plates, weapons often clip through arms and are almost never perfectly lined up with the hands resulting in clipping there. anything with cloth physics will clip with literally anything they come into contact with. even certain combinations of modular weapon parts will clip with each other

these problems aren't really seen as a big deal and it would be nearly impossible for DE to fix all of them. they tried to fix the operator clipping issue and pretty much failed entirely. with the number of combinations of body types, cosmetics, and weapons, there's just no way to deal with every little one of them. its a problem that shows up in nearly every game ever and its just unavoidable.

DE barely pays any mind, if they do at all, to the problem of some warframe's arms bending backwards while holding certain weapons and that is a much worse problem to look at

  12.  The operators look great but there's a significant amount of small issues plaguing a good amount of these cosmetics. many people have already made posts about most of these but this is just my personal take.

Right now head accessories are split into three categories, ear, eye, and facial. the facial category is a bit frustrating, because it covers both accessories around your mouth area, and accesories around your forehead area. none of the accessories that go into one of these categories overlaps with the other one, they should be separated so that you can equip a head an mouth accessory at the same time. its important for me to cover this first cus I'll be referring to head and mouth accessories separately in my next point.

Open hoods hide too much. there are many hoods that when open, leave your face and ears completely unobstructed, but still hide all facial accessories, and your hair. it would be nice if many of these were changed to allow for more elaborate customization, here's my suggestions of which hoods should/shouldn't hide what (and some minor design tweaks). everything I mention here is covering these hood in their opened state unless mentioned otherwise:

Ceno Helmet: Everyone loves an umbrella hat, but not this one so much because it hides everything but eye accesories, but this is one of the most revealing hoods (when opened) I want to cover. Those silly massive ear covers this helmet has can be done away with, and it shouldn't hide anything (Including hair!), except maybe head accessories simply due to there being a few rather protruding ones. I'm not sure if any head accessory protrudes far enough to clip through the top tho so unless that's the case let them be equipped.

Haztech Mask: Mostly alright as it is. But it could show mouth accessories, and possibly earrings. The ear covers this hood has in the opened state don't add very much, might be some work but could maybe have it so the ear portions of this hood get hidden if ear accessories are worn with it, and are visible when they're not. If the clipping with the atmos earrings isn't visually terrible it probably wouldn't be too bad to just leave them as is but still allow earrings as most would be hidden by them anyways and those that wouldn't I don't think would look bad clipping through them. Sometimes clipping models don't look bad, and sometimes even look quite nice. This is an instance where I think that might work. Can't confirm as I can't really see it for myself tho. additionally I would love to see the gas mask this hood has when its closed, hanging from the opperator's neck when its opened.

Kubrodon Ventkid Mask: Unhide basically everything. There shouldn't be a hood covering most of my head when this is open. having the wires out the back and the lifted goggles would look great with hair and everything else.

Saturn Six Mask: This one can only be seen when its closed, so I kinda see why earrings are hidden. DE likely has all hoods set to hide all accessories when closed. But your ears are not covered by this mask, and so when this one is closed I think earrings should be visible.

Smelter Mask: Allow mouth accessories to be visible. That's all I really have to say for this one

Umbra Hooded Scarf: Allow earrings. Maybe could change the model to dip below the ears so this works better, but just allow them regardless. I wouldn't personally be mad if it hid mouth accessories, but I could see it being a point of contention to people who are a fan of the recent tennogen matching eye and face accessories that fit together. If it dosn't hide it now, don't change it.

Vahd Mask: Everything I said about the Ceno Helmet, but this one doesn't even cover your ears this time, or have any of the straps the Ceno does.

Vent Pobber Ventkid Mask: I've actually had the pleasure of seeing this one when it was first released and didn't hide anything and let me just say it looked incredible. With hair equipped with this hood it looked like you just had pipes and wires coming right out of your head, it was a fantastic look, and I thought it was meant to be that way up until they "fixed" it. As a big fan of the atmos earrings I would be a bit disappointed if they were hidden on this one but I can understand why this would hide earrings. Still I would like to see this one hide nothing.

Vent Rat Mask: All this one needs is to allow mouth accessories.

Zauba Mask: Ugliest hood IMO, possibly the ugliest cosmetic in the game, so I'm not sure if anyone even cares. But this one could go for not hiding mouth accessories as well.

That's it for the hoods, any I didn't mention I'm fine with as is. Now onto something I see being a big point of contention in this topic, color matching. A good chuck of operator cosmetics color quite differently from each other. A lot people have brought this one up in posts like this but i find the common suggestion of "allow each piece to be colored independently" to be a very extreme fix for this Issue. I've brought up my contention with pet Moa's doing this same thing in a previous post and I feel I don't even need to mention cosmetic armors for your warframes. But this time I think people are overreacting. there's just a few changes I would make that would make this situation much more bearable to just 4 sets.

Lets start with the Manduka leggings. If me previously mentioning my love for the Atmos earrings wasn't clue enough, I love me some furry cosmetics. But as much as I wanted these paw-leggings I just couldn't get into them because despite there being a clear split between the pants and the boots, they use the same color channel. These would look so much better if you just colored the boots with the primary channel. As well as allowing all of the metallics in the whole set to share the hood lining color instead of having some uncolorable and others not.

Next the Zariman set. Ever since the change, this set has taken colors very differently. The way it took colors before the change was better, and matched more with everything. I really don't know what possessed the graphics designers to make this change to the colors. it pretty much mismatches with everything. the hood lining colors vastly differently from all other metallic textures in operator cosmetics, the whole rest of the suit takes colors much darker and more vividly than everything else. it's just a mess.

There's quite a bit wrong with the outrider set. Metallics should take the hood lining channel as nearly every other metalic in operator cosmetics do. The helmet takes color very unnaturally, and there's quite a few minor details that bother me on this one other than that. like the boots. much like the manduka leggings I think the boots should take from the primary channel, and the sort of cod piece and pockets should take from the secondary channel. lots of wierdness with how this whole set takes color too, even just making it a little closer to most of the other sets would help a lot

And lastly, the Kubrodon set. This thing is a mess. not a single one of its colors work with anything else. It really needs a complete color overhaul. the channels are all completely wrong. Every channel needs to be rotated in the following way: The primary channel should cover what's currently colored by tertiary, tertiary should color what's covered by secondary, secondary should cover what's colored by lining, lining should color what's covered by primary. Lastly, the metallics of this set are just a bit washed out. Pump up the saturation on them just a bit to be more in line with metalics from most other sets.

While that sure is a lot of writing I don't think this is really that large of a change. it mostly just amounts to a few lighting changes, and slight changes to color maping. plus the changes to hidden vs non hidden cosmetics, Im not sure how much work that last thing would be but given how fast they switched off a lot of things from the fortuna cosmetics I'd imagine its not that difficult barring my suggestions to model alterations.

This is all just my opinion and I really don't expect DE to do any of this as much as I would love if they did. I would really like to see another operator cosmetic overhaul that addressed most of this. but I know DE loves to stand their ground hard on even their worst cosmetic decisions, the only time I'v seen them back out of a poor design decision due to fan outcry was their first attempt at overhauling operator cosmetics, and they had pretty much the entire population of people who care about that part of the game up in arms against those changes. and when they do respond to fan criticism its usually only within a short time window of the implementation of the subject. All of these things I'v covered individually are rather minor annoyances that are largely subjective, have been part of the game through many changes, and complains about them are a slow trickle. So I doubt they'll pay it any mind at all. Still I thought I'd get my opinion out there on the slim chance that it might be taken into consideration in the future

  13. yeah I don't understand why DE seems to always think that hiding previously visible useful information is a good idea nearly every time they rework the ui. it doesn't make it "less cluttered" its just aggravating. and the new way rarity is displayed is hardly noticeable compared to the previous ui. we should never have to hover over literally everything to see any of the information we need. i'd love to see the duckat values of prime parts on full display, and the rarity be indicated by the entire boarder around the item, as well as ammount owned being on display in the same way it was before. having all the information you need upfront immediately and easily readable is incredibly important for something that gives you a very short time to make your decision.

  14. Not the sort of bug you should leave around for so long. That's the sort of mistake a developer needs to jump on top of immediately. The longer they wait, the more people are gonna go blowing their hard earned standing, or even platinum, on garbage arcanes due to a lie, the bigger of a mess they'll have to clean up, and the bigger of an apology they're gonna have to give. If they wait much longer to fix it they're gonna HAVE to make it a feature whether they wanted to or not, or the player backlash will be massive.

It's no wonder everyone missed your point, when your post is full of exaggerations like these:

When apparently all you really meant was to distinguish between people who do/don't regularly plan weekends away.

Fair point. But many people with social obligations, have a high likelihood of having a weekend away at some point or another. Which with a 50% chance of that weekend coinciding with a baro appearance, likely equates to a considerable amount of people encountering this issue regardless of weather they plan things like that regularly or not.

We don't know each other and you've already implied that I have no life nor friends, just because I'm able to access Baro.

He's been on a set schedule for a very long time now, you know when and how long to expect him, you are fully capable of farming for Ducats well in advance of his visit.

You choosing to not do that isn't the problem of people who do.

I didn't imply people who can acess Baro don't have a life. just that many people who do have a life may have trouble doing so. I acknowledged that I can farm ducats in advance in the op. and my suggested changes don't in any way inconvenience anyone who has no trouble with baro already. Except for my suggestion to repeat half of his inventory which I prefaced with saying doubling his total inventory at the same time would be preferable which completely negates that downside.

Also, how is doing something that takes literally less than 10 minutes (and that is from starting the game, to logging in, to heading to him, to buying, to leaving the game) causing anyone to "throw away their social life for the weekend"?
I mean seriously, it takes no time at all to log in, check his wares, buy them, and leave.  And if you can't even spare 10 minutes over the days that he is over.....

If your life is busy enough that you literally cannot spare 2 minutes over the course of a whole weekend to log on and buy some item from Baro (assuming ducats can be easily farmed and stocked ahead of time), then honestly, I have to ask you this: why are you playing and invested on a looter grinder type of game?

    5 hours ago, Atsia said:

An exaggeration and would make no real difference considering people post his wares within minutes.

You all completely missed the point. The issue here Isn't not having the time to log on for a few minutes to get the stuff, or the grind for dukats itself. It's not about the amount of available time at all. the issue is going away for a weekend, ie: not having access to your computer at all for the duration of baro's visit. knowing what his wares are after plans like this have already been made is completely useless information as, if I were in a position to make use of that information after he's already shown up, then I wouldn't need it at all to begin with. as I could literally just go up to him and check myself faster than anyone would've had the information up online and i could find it. If I'm, say, out of state or something, there is absolutely nothing I can do about it *after the fact*

With a bigger margin of time he's available, an announcement of what his goods'll be a week in advance of his arrival, and/or the ability to purchase goods off him from the mobile app, this problem would be eliminated almost entirely

And I'm in no way implying people who don't encounter this issue don't have a life. I'm just saying that many people who do are severely inconvenienced by just about every aspect of his system, or put another way, the lack of QoL features around it. Just "oh you have to be away from your house those 3 days? too bad! cus I just brought a bunch of S#&$ you wanted" It certainly doesn't effect everyone. but here's my train of logic:

those I didn't quote here saying that I don't have a life? You're all right, I don't. I have exactly one friend, and no job. Yet I'v encountered this problem multiple times. If I of all people have had this happen enough times to get this frustrated about it. How many people are out there do you think that actually have friends and responsibilities that have this issue regularly? Somehow I doubt some antisocial shut in like me gets out even a fraction as often as the average person.

  19. I could go all day about ways this game completely shafts people that have even a remote semblance of a life, that DE really should fix if they want to draw in and keep players that can, you know, actually pay for the game. But I don't have time so I'm going to address the one plaguing me at this particular moment. I often find myself having to choose between being available to see what Baro has at any given time he shows up, or making plans to do something else, and that's really frustrating. Especially when I choose the former and he brings absolutely nothing of interest. Yes I know whatever he's got will always come around again eventually, but who knows how long that'll take and if I'll be available for it then ether. Something about him needs to change. Here's some suggestions I have to alleviate this issue:

Announce his inventory ahead of time so people can make an educated decision on whether or not they're willing to throw away their social life for the weekend to get a new shiny bauble or if its just not worth their time.

Extend his time by a few days so he shows up earlier in the week and stays around longer.

Always repeat the new stuff he brings the next time around so anyone who has all his other stuff can comfortably skip an appearance without worrying about missing out. or better yet, divide his inventory in two, (or even better, double his inventory) and always repeat the newer half the next time around like: | A, B | B, C | C, D |. Basically set it up in some way where he always repeats every item he has once consecutively, but his inventory still changes. So anyone can comfortably skip one appearance without missing anything. If that makes sense.

Or, and this is the best option IMO, Allow people to purchase items from Baro through the app so they can farm for ducats ahead of time and don't have to worry about being available at all.

Any one of these would massively improve my, and I'm sure anyone else who plays this game and has actual friends, enjoyment of the system. Or better yet, use all of them.
