Hema was the worst grind of my entire Warframe career... and I only had to get 5000 samples... took over 3 days of back to back farming nothing but samples WITH a doubleboost and Smeeta.

I don't think they'll ever adjust it though because some people who have done it in the current state would cry and complain.

I always hate that reasoning not to make something terrible in a game more doable. I would love nothing more for this game than my worst experiences with it be made better for future players.

You can get about a hundred samples farming the derelict for an hour without boosters. That's 50 man-hours for the research. 5 people, half hour a week, 20 weeks. That said, I'm about 20% of the way there after 2 years, since it's not a priority for me.

I would not consider 20 weeks a reasonable amount of time for a single sub-par weapon in this game.

I'll admit that I would really like the Lich removal policy more than anything, mainly because if other people get their Lich to Fack orf, mine could spawn. it's kinda grating when I've finally figured out my requiems and the correct Order, only for someone else's Lich to take the Spawn and people not be able to do anything about it without having their spine broken (not a big deal to me, but seems others feel different). my Liches are cowardly enough as it is when they know I've figured out the magic words, this doesn't help one bit.

other than that, and maybe reducing the murmur grind slightly (at least for the third Requiem), I like the system.

except it should be the other way around shouldn't it? if people don't engage with it, why bother fixing it. if on the other hand everyone is playing it, DE should think "huh, this is popular, we should see if we can make it even better so that it stays popular!"

maybe just try to encounter him solo if you don't want other people's litches taking his spawn then?

Just another: “ I didn’t realize that WF is Co-op game”.

Even with a full active clan, actively farming for this with resource and drop boosters in full meta farming squads, funding the the hema takes a significantly larger amount of time than a single player could take to fund any other individual thing. That's well beyond a coop vs solo issue. Clans consisting of small close-knit groups of friends who all might not have a lot of time on their hands have no hope of researching it within any reasonable amount of time.

  5. For some reason the mission rewards screen has always stated you just get the 250k reward. Even if it actually does give you double credits. If you were paying attention to your actual credit count, not just what the mission rewards say, and it definitely didn't give you double, than that's concerning.

  6. Get a good setup for index, wait until you get a credit booster one way or another, daily login, baro, rare container, special event, whatever, or just buy one but I personally make it a point to never do that. Then farm out index for a couple hours. You'll have it in no time. I try to farm a few mill from index whenever I'm low and get a free credit booster. It's really not much. for new players its a big deal. but this isn't really intended for new players. Most big updates are focused on more mid to late game players. You gotta work up to it. Imagine being the guy that just started to build their own solo clan, they've got a long time ahead of them before they can even consider starting on this. Once you can comfortably do index, credits cease to be a real problem. If you're not at that point you have other parts of the game you need to be focusing on.

  7. With the amount of time investment needed to get even just eidolan lenses (don't even talk to me about lua ones) and the looming threat of DE potentially nerfing any given thing into the ground, we seriously need a way to pull lenses from gear and reuse them. It's been a desired feature for ages but we still don't have it and its getting more and more necessary with each new tier of lens DE introduces, and each nerf they make to meta gear. Farming just one of these things takes days. You need 5 to completely kit one set of gear out with them, and then an additional one for every time a change is made that encourages you to change what you're using, and then multiply that by every focus shcool. The time investment on them is way too high for the amount of them the game wants you to get, and how disposable the game treats them. I have absolutely no interest farming for anything over a teir 2 lens simply because I know eventually some update's gonna ruin whatever I put it in. I might actually bother farming for a full set of 25 lua lenses if the game gave me the ability to keep them.

That aside we also need something to do with extra lenses that we don't need. At the moment all you can really do with them is sell them to players. A way to convert lenses to a different school would be lovely, even if it consumed multiple lenses to do so. I have a ton of naramon lenses from plaguestar that I just have no use for, and are hardly even worth selling. On that subject, could use more lenses in the plaguestar bounty next time it comes around. I seriously don't understand why it has to only have naramon in its drop table. On the subject of drop tables also, why do fortuna and cetus bounties both drop the same lenses at the same time? If I'm farming lenses I'm just going to run the plains cus it's easier. I might actually do fortuna bounties for them if a lens I want is available in fortuna when it's not in cetus. To the same tune why is it in every rotation the two tiers of bounties that give lenses both have the same lens in them? If you set it so every bounty that drops lenses dropped a different one from any other available bounty, with 6 total lenses in rotation at any given time this would make every lens always available, with an extra spot you could ether just remove as a potential drop all together, improving the chance of getting the lens that you want, or just have a duplicate in there. Eliminating the need to wait out the stupid 2 and a half hour timer between bounty rotations, 5 hours if the lens you need is 2 rotations away. People on a tight schedule are rarely ever able to get the lenses they need with the current way the drops are setup.

  8. my two big issues are:
the day long crafting time, for the amount of these you need, and the fact that you have to sacrifice potential ducats to get them, the day long crafting time on them is way too long. 6 hours at absolute most but really it should be more like 1. to build a clan proper you need hundreds of these. and you need hundreds more all over the rest of the game. just years worth of crafting these damn things assuming you can craft one every single day.

and umbra forma. for the effort you have to put into getting them umbra forma are almost too rare to use. so far only people have only been able to get 3. with 5 umbra mods in existence, and the shear amount of frames and weapons there are, one every 3-4 months roughly is absolutely rediculus. ESPECIALLY when DE decides to massively nerf things all the time, if they decide to nerf something you've put an unbra forma on into unuseability, the loss is MASSIVE. they should be roughly as available as aura forma. I feel bad for anyone that put an umbra forma on a mele weapon that relies heavily on status for damage before the recent mele changes

I think the best sollution would be to allow removing forma from things, getting the forma back from it, and doing so doesn't reset the weapon's mastery. this doesn't break the system too much, you still need to re level your weapons after formaing them. a GREAT fix for the rediculus time investment on leveling would be public ques on sanctuary onslaught specifically for people wanting to go all the way to zone 8. you can almost guerenteed level an entire set of weapons in 8 zones of elite with an affinity booster. or a single weapon in 8 without one. but ONLY if your entire team stays the whole way which is almost impossible in pub groups now. yes this doesn't work for warframes but i don't think warframes are as big of a forma issue since there aren't very many of them and you usullay don't need to forma them all that many times to get a build you want (unless you're going for umbra mods)

Sounds like the solution is to make bounties better and travel more interesting, not give everyone a free "teleport to objective" button.

That's a more complicated solution that many changes towards could be highly subjective, that I don't see DE ever addressing at this point. Especially with their tendency to just abandon old game modes and focus on new ones. Bringing up a recent change, opposed to old issues that a recent change made worse, is more likely to get noticed and acted upon.

For instance this would be a complete non-issue if objectives in open worlds didn't consistently spawn 1-2 thousand meters away from you. something players have been complaining about since the plains released, but DE has done nothing to address.

  10. The only reason blink spam was a problem is because only Itzal could do it, which made pretty much every other archwing obsolete in open worlds. With every archwing having blink now, there was no reason to nerf it, so why is it there? It accomplishes only 2 things, making the already long and tedious bounty missions even longer, and, quite counter intuitively, keeps Itzal in its position of beating out every other archwing in transport speed. with the cooldown, flightspeed is now a factor, and with the fastest flight speed Itzal is still objectively the best archwing for the one job archwings have in open worlds, being fast. I would LOVE to use Elytron in the open worlds for its large aoe abilities, or Amesha for it's defensive capacity, But I just can't, not when speeding through these missions as fast as possible is my goal, and Itzal is still simply the best way to do that.

TLDR: the cooldown on universal blink only keeps Itzal in power, and makes a mission type that many people hate, even worse. please remove it.

I think to answer your question, you should make a clan!

You can run a ghost clan of 10 to have the smallest resource multiplier for building stuff 🙂

    4 hours ago, SargionMagara said:

I second to this. I am personally running a Ghost clan of 10 with only 2 active members with me included. Absolutely no problem building things, decorating halls the way you like, anything. Dry dock and the cephalon researches already done right off the bat.

so abandon my current clan, ran by one of my friends, and potentially damage our friendship over getting to experience part of a game a little faster?
    solid plan

think you two completely missed the point. the point is I want to make my own clan. but I don't want to abandon my current one to do it, and im sure a good chunk of other players feel the same way.

other potential reasons may include: not wanting to leave a clan that has ignis wraith. being in or owning a clan that was never upgraded from the old orokin style and cannot ever have the dry dock (if those still even exist). not wanting to abandon things you've built in your current clan that may have taken you weeks to do. not wanting to leave a large and fairly active clan with a good community in favor of starting a new clan that might never get that way, and you wouldn't want the responsibility of managing if it did.

A significant chunk of players have wanted the possibility of being in multiple clans since clans were introduced as a feature. and now its a heavily needed feature with the inclusion of a clan room that is required for a huge expansion of the game, and more than likely the eventual lead up to the next part of the story. as there are several reasons many people might have to not want to leave their current clan that, for one reason or another, will be left far behind or might outright never be able to have the required room.

  12. since I first started the game I'v wanted this feature. to be able to have my own clan, and also be in someone else's. I understand the major Issue with this is memory space. everyone having their own custom clan would take up a lot of memory. But now with the dry dock I think it's almost a necessity. the reason being inactive clan leaders or just plain lazy ones, that are taking a long time to get the dry dock up. A lot of smaller clans might have this issue. and a lot of bigger clans are having a different issue, that being the entire clan has to be rearranged to accommodate for this MASSIVE room which given the size of it and how ungodly long it takes to build and destroy rooms could potentially takes months, especially without given exact specs on how large the room is, and ESPECIALLY if the clan leader there also isn't very active. But a lot of people may not want to leave their clan for a variety of reasons. having the option to both be in a clan and own one yourself would completely erase this issue.

I hardly think being able to stand on the floaty thing is "no fun allowed", unless you derive your fun from the most niche of sources.

the floaty thing is more of a minor nitpick. I'm mainly annoyed at not being able to use the 13 blocks (at least, and not counting multiple floors) of inaccessible walkways around the boarder of the room.

  14. what's with these hallways that are displayed on the map, but we can't reach because of an invisible wall? or this flying platform roaming around the room that we can't ride on. it doesn't feel very much like a personal space that belongs to us when we don't have acess to half of it. we know you guys can code in flying entities with collsion that you can stand on just fine. This room could've been so fun to decorate around and expand on, but everything that makes it that way is blocked or stripped off.

on the subject of no-fun-allowed invisible walls and lack of collision (and anti-wall jump), fortuna and cetus has that all over the place as well. why do you do this?

I am using a Xbox One Controller and cannot blink at all, no matter what combination of buttons I use. Double roll only decreases my altitude slightly. Can anyone else confirm?

its a known issue. i found a workaround for it. bind move down to the context action button in arcwing controls so crouch, slide, roll has the LB all to itself and it'll work

I've already submitted a support ticket for this but I figured I should post it here too. So here's the basic rundown of what happened. Pretty much copy paste of what my ticket says but excluding the weapon's specifications:

"I've just defeated my second kuva litch. I definitely vanquished him, and his weapon definitely showed up in my foundry. But when I attempted to claim it I got the "not enough weapon slots" prompt, and upon purchasing the weapons slots directly through the prompt, the weapon was removed from my foundry, but not placed in my inventory."

Needless to say this is a MASSIVE problem and it needs to be fixed as soon as possible. If DE doesn't keep a log of the stats of every kuva litch you've vanquished, there's no way they can prove any weapon you say you lost this way is legitimate and that could be a serious problem. Especially given the massive time and resource investment needed to get these things, and the ridiculous rng involved.

I'll update this later on how support responds to my ticket.

big false alarm turns out i was looking in the wrong weapon category 😕 im an idiot

  18. Gotta say I think nightwave was still the worst update. this one is definitely the worst in terms of rng and rewarding you for your time. but nightwave was like, burnout: the update. forcing you to play the game longer, doing things that you don't wanna do that have no benefit to you other than progressing nightwave, for 2 months straight to get the final, time limited rewards. several hours I'm practically forced to participate in that S#&$ty system rather than progressing in one of the other million avenues I could be spending my time on, or playing another game. I miss the days when I could take a long break from the game and not have to worry that I've missed something I might not be able to get again later. and being able to do whatever the #*!% I want with my time in the game. This update is a close second, But nightwave cannot be topped. Another update half as bad as this and I might have to quit. I'm dreading the release of railjack more and more with every new update.
