If you transferred platforms in the past, you're locked out from merging. I'm disappointed how this wasn't mentioned anywhere and then silently added to the FAQ days after it was posted. We were told back then we're never getting cross save, and now we're being unintentionally punished for our loyalty. I've been waiting patiently to return to this game for over 3 years since it became an increasingly terrible experience on the Switch and eventually got so blurry it caused me and many others headaches. I really hope once the main event is over, DE looks into fixing this and allowing us to merge transferred accounts without being able to dupe items or cause any other such issues. With how stressful this is for many of us, I'm sure it's 10x more stressful for the staff at DE, so I urge everyone to be patient and understanding. Still, sucks I won't be returning since there's Tennogen on my PS4/5 version I spent good money on and prime access I can't repurchase until god-knows when. Upsetting, but there's nothing much anyone in my shoes (and there are many) can do but wait some more. Hopefully we at least get a (not rushed and uninformed) response from DE once they return, cross save is fully implemented, and development continues as normal.

DE directly told us multiple times that cross-platform save was never going to happen. If you want to talk about being logically wrong, it's logically wrong to blame us for accepting conditions we were told did not and would never exist. If item duplication is an issue, then I hope the team gets right to work on finding a solution, as this locks out a large amount of the dedicated playerbase and will lock out a much larger number once the casual playerbase become aware of cross save.

This wasn't listed until multiple days after the initial announcement. This is information that should have been clearly communicated day 1. Either way, there's nothing we can do atm except be patient. I just wanted more people to be aware since many people aren't due to this info being added days after the fact, although I stumbled upon a post saying the same thing, so I guess the PSA was already PSA'd.

Exactly. This wasn't on the page on release, and now nobody saw it until we tried linking. I have plat and Tennogen on my PS version and I don't want to lose those because I transferred my PC to my Switch years back and play on that. I guess I'm not returning to Warframe despite me quitting 3 years ago specifically awaiting cross save to have a playable experience after the Switch version went to crap due to not being able to handle all the updates.

I wish DE made this clear. I don't even know if they touched on it. I have a Switch account that was originally a PC account. Tried merging and was told it's ineligible due to being transferred from PC to Switch when that was available. I can't merge and I have a great amount of resources on my PlayStation version, so is that just gone in the void? What the hell!?

Completely understandable, but I'm a little disappointed. Please don't make promises you aren't 100% sure you can keep. I know it's typical DE fashion, but let's move on from that if possible. Regardless, we appreciate your extremely hard and diligent work! And I hope cross-save doesn't haunt the staff's nightmares and you all can actually relax and enjoy a wonderful holiday and new year!
