Um, duh? The Hek is a rank 4 supergun isn't it? That said, I just bought the Gorgon and I love it. I do think it could use a winddown, but it isn't super necissary.

Modern combat shotguns are going the way of the magazine, just look at the AA-12.
Personally I think they should treat reloading as the space compression/digitalization Warframes can do. You know how you suck a prisoner up into your hand? Do it in reverse with bullets. It's the future people! Now all we need are special effects for it.

i am not going to rant on how firearms work in this thread, but bottom line it is impossible to get the same energy out of a semi-auto rifle as a bolt action. The military going towards semi auto is a choice based on tactical application. (not saying they haven't come a long way and started to close the gap but they won't catch up fully.
That's only true for gas operated semi-automatics. A semi-auto with a robotic action would match. It is the future remember, these guns may not even be using powder propellents.

I think the strings would work best as weapon skins with stat alterations.
I think the Devs said that there would be weapon specific mods coming soon and Paris' would be explosive arrows.

Or maybe they are super modified and that's why the Warframes work at all. I could expand this even more; An Infested Trinity is an Ancient Healer. An Infested Saryn is a Toxic Ancient. Infested Volt or Mag could be an Ancient Disruptor.

I have always ascribed to the fact the Tenno use biological constructs in which they sleeve their consciousness into. Sure, they look humanoid, but under the epidermis, they are biologically engineered musculature and high-impact alloys. Think Genocyber meets Ghost in the Shell.

Actually I really like the single colour idea, especially if they release more pallets. Can you imagine grinding for forest green or ocean blue?

I don't think most people who want choosable genders are ashamed to play as the opposite sex, more that they want to connect with a character they see as an extension of themselves. I can and will play as Excalibur, but I want to feel more like the frame is mine.
At no point in the current fluff/gameplay is the idea that each frame is unique or special supported, so why the heck not?

Anyway, I suggest Toxic Gas Leak. The game randomly spawns drifting clouds of gas that work like the toxic ancients gas.

More powerful but dodgeable attacks and hitscan attacks aiming a moment behind the player are my favorite ideas from this thread. While we're on it would the roll move having invulnerability frames be a good idea? It would be meant as a defense against a much larger number of enemy grenades,mines and missiles. So far it's mostly pointless anyway.

Waaaaaay to much work to do that. They would have to start modeling over from the beginning, and build them in peices that could then be recombined to reflect mods. That is probably not happening.
I know a silencer mod may be coming, haven't heard anything about zoom and accuracy, and grenade launchers where tried and the devs didn't like them (plus your Warframe is explosive enough on it's own)
