First, you need to keep tour expectations of what you'll get in check - warframe is of the "hint, don't tell" school of lore exposition, so you're going to get bits and pieces, and not a full history.

There are several sources of Grineer lore in the game. The major ones I can think of are:

    a) Cephanlon Fragments - some of the fragment descriptions, once fully unlocked, describe details about the Grineer

    b) Ghoul fragments (from Ghoul purge events) - Specifically about the ghouls, but they are a Grineer creation

    c) Simaris' community targets - completing these will give little lore pieces, several about the Grineer

    d) Kuria - scanning Kuria unlocks a poem, which has some Grineer lore

    e) Quests - several quests give more context and history to the Grineer

    f) General codex scans - some of the Codex entries for specific units gives some additional information about the Grinneer, although most are pretty generic

    g) NPC dialog - You can get bits of dialog about the Grineer from Steel Meridan Railjack Crewman, there are a couple of interesting lines from some of the bosses, etc.

True true, you can also get some other Grinner lore from the War Within (with the Queens) and Kuva Siphon missions.

Don't worry, I am aware that those cinematic quests are absolutely not representative of your normal, standard Warframe gameplay.

Already got to Angels and Whispers, amazing content updates (tbh I dont know which one I like more).

Hopefully DE won't abandon their ambition, and deliver something similar to The New War in scope in the future.

Wait until you get to Whispers in the Walls. They got some cinematic goodies along with a banger theme to listen to.

I can't believe people are still arguing with this guy lmfao

Well, whenever a thread has multiple pages while also being “hot” that either means 3 things

    • The most common is two people arguing
    • The second most common is one dude has a bad take and everyone’s like “No.”
    • And the third would be almost everyone in the forums in agreement that something’s stupid (rare, but it happens)

There is a fourth, but that is locked into a wholesome part of the forums known as “off topic”

    MR lock: 10 >> 14

    Charge time: 1.0s >> 0.7s

    Critical Chance: 34% >> 44%

    Critical Damage: 2.0x >> 2.3x

    Status Chance: 46% >> 65%

    Max ammo: 72 >> 35

    Damage:

    700 (210 Impact, 280 Puncture, 210 Slash)

    850 (260 Impact, 330 Puncture, 260 Slash)

    Projectile speed: 140 m/s >> 200 m/s

    Gimmick:

    1) Projectile/arrow hitbox/model is thicker (not as ridiculous as Arca Plasmor, maybe thicker than Nataruk) allowing it to hit enemies that are close together more effectively.

    2) Alt-fire switches to lock-on arrows. Fires 5 at a time, each arrow inheriting the stats of the default arrows, but also consumes 5 ammo per shot (does not take into account multishot when consuming ammo), and also has no "carry-through" or punch through. Aims for the head or other weakspot for non-humanoid enemies if it is facing the player, otherwise hits dead center of the enemy.

    adding Harrow"

Stupid spell check, Yes I meant Harrow mb

If so, the Retaliation buff wouldn't block out Attrition hits.  And afaict it is.  I'd suggest testing again.   For simplicity's sake,  using Harrow himself as a control is best, with and without Covenant, as it's less likely to bring outside factors into it.  I also think it'll be more clear to look at body shots, as orange crit headshots with high crit damage can exceed 21x damage.

Maybe I’m losing my mind. I shall test it later

I'm not sure how that would work.  Like, if Retaliation is active, the game first rolls to see if Devouring Attrition would be successful without it?  And then...a Devouring Attrition hit can crit due to Covenant's bonus?  Or does it just allow unsuccessful DA hits to crit?

Anyway, with some light testing with Phenmor, I'm not seeing any  Devouring Attrition crits, and the Retaliation buff on a higher crit chance build appears to throttle DA hits.  Down to 0% with enough crit chance.

With devouring attrition, my Phenmor would do around 120k, adding Harrow (without any crit mods) makes it do around 200k.
Maybe it’s like Garuda’s passive? Added after everything else

Couldn't you backflip out of Volt's Speed or something? I def recall a way to cancel it at one point.

Still works if I’m not mistaken. The only thing that sucks is the instant boost of speed screwing your momentum/rhythm. My friend purposely did that when I’m about to bullet jump off a ledge, I become too fast and run right off the edge.
Plus… I’m not the best at backflips, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

It's a crappy one at that.

Like one of those Rust knockoffs that makes things way too complex for no good reason and never patches any bugs.

Hopefully the Devs in our simulation finally patch all of those bugs

Simulation theory is absolute drivel, its inanity only rivalled by that of eternalism and string theory.

Impossible, simulation is eternal. Eternalism is a simulation

It’s all stringed together in a word known as “BS”

    DE doesn't read General Discussion

    Way to crush their dreams

Just so OP isn’t withering at the sudden realization… just go to feedback and copy paste it. Then edit this post and change the title to “Deleted,” and delete the contents.
DE reads the feedback section (so they say)

Haha , I just imagined having to rapidly spin the cycron like those magnet powered torches or crank it like a jack in the box.

    New weapon incoming

“Void in the Wall” toss a concrete wall at enemies; alt fire cranks a little knob on the wall to launch a Qorvex. Qorvex deals “boo” damage while stunning every enemy like a baby seeing a Jack in the Box for the first time.

I dread to use Harrow exactly because of this. Whenever I take him out, my team has Ferlax x3...

Same here. I'm ok with anything except for buffs affecting my fire rate.

But… his buff comes after devouring attrition

Either I did some testing with his Ult and normal devouring attrition (no fire rate buff) on my Phenmor. He adds crit after devouring attrition.

    Risk and reward

While it’s true we need risk and reward, I think this would discourage Tenno.
I personally would be fine with an uber powerful gun that can also one shot me if I’m not careful. But others… I think they would smell and breath the word “nerf” as soon as they can.

That's the point. I do want players to be able to influence the effective performance.

It really depends on the weapons in question. It cant be one size fits all.

Lets take the bubonico , if you use up your whole magazine while using primary fire it will consume 5% of your health , if you consume your whole magazine with alternate fire it will explode on your arm like the proboscis cernos staggering you but also trying to absorb enemies around you. Enemies killed this way have a guaranteed health drop.

For tenet cycron if you keep using it it will start building heat , due to which it will keep getting slower to recharge until holstered/put away for a few seconds. if you keep using it despite of that it will give you a heat proc.

The kitguns with pax charge would depend on the type of kitgun.

Not sure if adding downsides to rechargeable weapons is the way to go.

If anything it should act like the sirroco where the player is rewarded for quick timing. The idea for Bubonico or Cycron sounds… janky.
