  1. Before the revisit I was using zetki carcinox with polar coil, after the revisit I am using zetki carcinox without polar coil. I actually have maxed mkIII versions of every gun from every house, Apoc is ok, but the firerate and bullet travel annoy me. I am not playing much after the revisit. Now that it's easy enough, to run veil missions solo with only one avionic installed, I find myself bored. I really liked Railjack, but the revisit kind of killed it for me entirely.

  2.  I really disliked blast, and went out of my way never to use it if possible. However! I disagree with it's removal, the same way I disagree with self damage removal. I am also not fond of the floating lifted status of enemies during some melee attacks either.

I know it wasn't a host migration. If you bothered going through the thread. I even wished him good luck on his support ticket after he said he solo-ed it.

So what's your problem with me now?

You tagged me with a quote. I was responding. Why are you assuming I have a problem with you? You know what, never mind? I'll just ignore your content, you seem unhinged.  Have a nice day!

In my opinion, railjack missions get somewhat buggy whenever a host migration occurs. Not sure if you had one earlier.

     @Jemmies

You can make all the assumptions you want, your assumption it was a host migration was proven false when he admitted to being solo. The video doesn't show the bug prior to the video, we don't know what was done prior to the video, without his first hand telling, making more assumptions rather then asking questions isn't a good way to identify and replicate bugs.

I play solo a lot, but have not experienced this bug. I have not used wisp in railjack, which is why I asked wisp questions among others. Assume nothing, ask questions, it really is the best way to track, and replicate bugs, so they can be fixed.

you were looking to increase efficiency, and if you're going to bring up Stealth Exterminate, you might as well bring up 2 manning it because it's faster.
just because of Casting Animations you can't 90-120 seconds a Stealth Exterminate to either Level a Weapon(or Warframe tbh) or get ~3/4 of your daily Focus. it takes an extra 2-3 Minutes to do it Solo, and once you're at the point of reaching about 5 minutes you almost might as well do Onslaught instead.

Once again you missed the entire point. Relying on others is never efficient. Besides I'll take the time saver with free kuva, you can join the others though.

I play railjack solo, so I have never had a host migration break the console. He probably should have mentioned that as the video had no sound. Are we sure that was the cause, or could wisp motes cause an issue since they overlap the console( I could test that).

Seems to me posting a video with no explanation at all, is not likely to solve much.

@(PS4)martinsuha593    Did you try putting wisps motes somewhere else in the ship where they do not overlap the console to rule them out as  a source of the problem?

Strongly disagree. I find the new Railjack experience actually bearable solo. I actually enjoy playing that mode for the first time since it came out. Don't really see how adding time sinks really improves the experience. I mean, I'd understand this point if you were arguing against solo capability in Railjack, but you don't seem to be.

With what? Fixing those two bugs is a problem for you? What time sinks? How do you get adding time sinks, out of not making the content any easier?

I can run Gian Point solo with only one avionic. How much easier does railjack have to be for you? Do you want it to just load straight to the reward screen?

i'm not sure what your block of numbers is supposed to represent. a mixture of efficient and not, and i don't know where you're going.
Onslaught is popular for Leveling because people hear that you can Level a Weapon by the end of the second Wave (or one Wave sometimes), from my perspective.  Stealth Exterminate can beat that but takes more brain cells, so i'm not really going to expect it to be a popular solution.
if that is what people go on as to why Onslaught is appealing (which they probably should), then Stealth Exterminate would be appealing for a 2 man to be able to do the same thing in 90-120 Seconds. but the requirements to do so are certainly much higher.

if we're going to assume that the Player in question is 'meh' at the game, they're much better off in Onslaught because it's harder to do it wrong.

Stealth exterminate isn't nearly taxing as you make it out to be, and definitely not something I would describe as taking a lot of brain cells. I would think people learning how certain mechanics currently work in the game, would benefit them more than leeching in ESO, while drinking Brawndo. I also don't know what your fascination with adding another person to the mix is, unless you absolutely need a carry.

  9. Umbral forma, and more regular forma, are the only things I tend to care about anymore. Decor and more room for decor would be nice I guess.

Always seem to be at riven cap even with giving away riven, and don't really need riven anyway. Credits are laughable. Endo is a non issue unless they release a bunch of primed mods/ umbral mods. Relics would just get lost in the piles of thousands of vaulted relics I have.

air Support needs a serious rework anyway IMO. the changes I would make

    -  security bypass: it wouldn't freeze timers permanently or anything, but enemies wouldn't be able to raise alarms or lock doors for that mission (you'd still have Friendship Doors though, as they are already locked).

    - Mantis Med Support could provide health regen within a set range (say 20-30m) as well as manual health restore. it's not a bad ability by any means, but we have so many ways of regaining health. for people who forego health regen in favour of more DPS or whatever, this would be helpful.

    - Scimitar's strafe run should be aimable, activating it gives a thrown beacon, which you lob at what you want killed: of course the damage needs to be buffed considerably maybe give it armor strip too for good measure.

    - Xiphos' Turret should scale with level, and be more than just a friendly Corpus Turret: give it it's own custom design and let it have guns, missiles etc. it would still have limited health and be fixed in place, and only one would be allowed at a time, but it should be at least as good as a decent Warframe Specter, if not more so.

    - the Nightwave Craft ability sounds on paper like an air support version of Banshee, but it could be watered down for all we know. maybe make it a thrown beacon that makes a permanent sound quake where it lands. would be useful for defense missions. I'll need to actually get the Craft before confirming how it can be improved if needed.

At the end of the day this doesn't solve the biggest problem. One of those will be better, which means the ship we use will be dictated not by which we think looks best, but by the precept. It's why liset gets used most. They seriously need to stop Tying precepts to what is essentially cosmetics. They could remove the precept issues all together, and let fashion frame soar because personal taste really do very greatly.

    Hey Ordis!

    Yes Operator?

Download and initiate hacking precept for landing craft.

Operator, I have initiated the hacking precept, is there anything else you would like?

no you don't need a 2 man but it's faster than alone, and isn't this Thread pretty much about efficiency. maybe i'm reading the signals from the Thread wrong but that seems like the overall subject.

There is enough xp when solo running adaro to level a weapon to 30, change weapons and level a second more than half way. This means solo 3 weapon levelings of 0-30 in two runs, without having to count on any one else or deal with them leeching. I can do it in under 5 minutes, so I figure it would be easy for anyone else to do it in under 6 once taught.

If they are doing ESO for 3 waves for one weapon, and spoiling groups that is 7 minute 30 second per level 30 weapon, even at 2 waves that is 5 minutes per. My method is  (we'll even round up to 7 ) per 1.5 weapons 0-30. That is 3 levelings of 0-30 in 14 minutes, those in ESO get at best 2 weapons in 10 minutes if doing one weapon every 2 rounds then repeating, for 3 weapons it's 15 minutes assuming 2 rounds of eso ( best case). That is 1 minute longer, no rewards, no kuva, and it requires other people. Tell me again which is more effecient?

By the way this thread seem to be more about leeching in ESO than efficiency. My method eliminates Both.

  12. I would rather they just untie ship precepts and let us choose what we want on what ship. Locking a precept to a cosmetic is not much fun, in a perfect world that would stop. Like the way your carrier looks but want it to scan things done. Like the liset precept , but want the xiphos ship done.

  13. Please DE! Whatever you do, I implore you not to make railjack any easier even for solo players like me. If you want to fix the door bug in disable the turbine that would be nice. You could also immobilize the ship map in the tactical ui, like in my feedback. Just, I beg you! Do not give me even less to do as a solo player, it's already mind numbing compared to old railjack.😟

hey, not everyone has the 2 man available whenever they need it for other things to be faster than Onslaught - i'm sure most experienced Players would pick Stealth if they always had a 2 man waiting for them (and if Stealth wasn't so exxxtra broken that you have to slow down and put 100% of Enemies to Sleep in order for it to actually work).
but, since always having a 2 man ready to Level a Weapon in 90-120 seconds doesn't really happen, sometimes then people have to resort to Leveling a Weapon in 2-4 Minutes in Onslaught.

You don't need 2 people I specifically said solo. It's how I do all my weapons.

  15. Take the time to learn to solo ESO it's really easy, and people can't leech if you are solo. Then when you decide to level weapons learn to do 0-30 Solo on any weapon on Adaro in under 6 minutes, as an added bonus you will get free kuva from the larvling every time you drop another forma.

Then you can just laugh at those wasting time in ESO like some of the rest of us do.

Thanks for taking the time to write this insight into how you play. It’s fun seeing the perspective of others, how they tackle challenges and what the experience is like, and I feel it’s answered my question 👍

I figure I might as well turn this post an update for @Vit0Corleone into how the new player experience is going (don’t worry, I’ll make my own topic for future updates, and sorry for filling up your topic so far, OP 😓 This’ll most likely be my last post for this context). I’m sad to say my only experience with the pre-update content is the first node on Earth, but can’t be both a new player and a vet so I’m glad to have the rare chance to speak from the perspective of someone starting out who has an impression (vague as it is) of the before while going through the content in the wake of the after.

Massive difference so far. It’s harder. Which is exciting!

I only got the chance to try and fail the mission about 5 times before the update, but straight off the bat there’s been an increase in fighters (probably that increased fighters at all alert levels mentioned in the patch notes). Before I was facing probably 4 - 8(?) at a time, and while they took about 10 hits to kill, I tended to know where they were and could clear them out without too much fuss. The bigger ships were the problem, since they kept hitting my ship hard the moment I had to duck out of the pilot seat to deal with something, and I couldn’t outrun them once they got within the range.

After the patch I’ve played one mission during lunch, and I didn’t even get a chance to leave the pilot seat or get hit by a ramsled. The fighters swarmed! I must have been facing the entire extermination quota by time I failed. I don’t know what those on the PTS were doing, @Vit0Corleone, but I was not able to sit there and have nothing happen. The bigger ship didn’t get to hit me much if at all, it was those fighters hounding me ceaselessly that sent me back to drydock. 5 hits to kill versus 10 did not an easier fight make.

I acknowledge that this has been only one datapoint, and that I need to put the update through more of its paces, but I’m even more excited to have my partner manning the guns, because while I nearly had the mission complete on my 5th pre-patch attempt, I don’t think I can solo this thing now without some serious cheese (which I’m not interested in).

    Looking forward to testing more!

It's a shame you are not on pc I would gladly take you to Gian point in this epic ship with only tether for an avionic, notice the health and shields lol. Warframe2718.jpg

  17. You can use tether which drops on earth, to remove entire spawns of fighters, if a crewship fires at you dodge, or put something between it and you. First crewship, slingshot kill pilot, grab the ship, then omni teleport back. Now you have a decoy for the other crewships to shoot. You can either down the engines with carcinox, or your prefered gun, and tycho, or sling aboard, and destroy gens, or if you can aim just tycho the shield out, then use the forward artillery, and aim for an engine. Anytime you get a ramsled launch target him and use a tycho, one usually kills it, unless it flew through a healing bubble.

If you have particle ram and rank it up, you can fly around and ram everything to death(on earth), while sucking up the loot. spend 30 minutes speed running rian belt like that and you will likely also get the rare drops cruising speed, and deep hold. plus enough resource to make a clan tech mk3 engine, reactor, shield array, and I recommend carcinox. Clan tech is good enough to skate through all the content now even solo. I solo'd it in clan tech before the revisit, which took some effort. That is the problem! After doing so the revisit makes it feel effortless, even without a built ship, and most avionics.

You don't need anything more then some clan tech, and one avionic drop from earth, and enough intrinsic for the 7 to reach the void. Gian is easy and ruse is not much harder. If you want to ignore making flux all the time, even if using seeker volley then break the meta and use a zetki reactor/and/or hyperflux, it's not like you actually need 100 points in avionics that is just youtuber nonsense.

By the way the only time you are going to see spawns after missions done, is if you are within 5.5k(give or take a bit) meters of a platform, or something containing ramsleds.

  18. Which? You can solo gian point with one of 3 different avionics in under ten minutes, one of those avionics drop on the earth proxima pretty often. As for Ruse Warfield(highest level node) you will spend more time doing the side missions than it takes to kill 6 crewships and however many random fighters. No I don't mean using archwing to do the railjack missions. There is no reason to even bother with archwings since they nerfed the content.

  19. 7 hours ago, (NSW)Greybones said:

In another thread you and I were discussing the difficulty decrease in Railjack, and when I asked if you could make the fights harder by stripping back, you said a player can solo Veil easily with a stock-standard Railjack.

I’m struggling to make it through the first Earth node with my brand new un-upgraded Railjack. I have no problem with this, mind, I want a fight, but it’s definitely making me wonder what you were doing to trivialise Veil with the base Railjack

edit: I was laughing so hard as everything was going wrong 😆 Fires, decompression, Grineer. The odd bomb. I’m pretty sure they were having a crazy party and were punching holes in my ship and setting fires for fun. Couldn’t find them all ‘cause I needed to jump back and forth between the party and the front to take out fighters, so when I failed and ended up back in drydock I’m pretty sure my dojo got an indeterminate amount of Grineer partiers hiding in the vents and in the corners, places where I can’t see them but know they’re there

So you have not gotten the update yet and are struggling. Prior to the update I solo'd my way to the veil in a clan tech railjack, after the update I can run it with only one avionic installed. I'd be willing to bet Vito could do the same.

  20. I was playing it solo for fun before the revisit. After the revisit I just can't get into railjack anymore. Drifting was hit a little hard. Everything including ground troops, just die instantly.

I really liked railjack, and archwing for that matter, but the revisit has killed my desire to play railjack because it's so easy now. There is nothing to micro manage anymore, no epic space combat. Railjack is painfully, mind-numbing, effortless, and trivial now.😞
