Was trying to read about how to defeat jackal while dead (it very quickly kills me…), after reviving there’s no jackal, and it looks like I’ll end up losing everything gathered until now. So many bugs…

Try playing with controller settings, perhaps reset it and start from the official layout. It's unusable, but it could be a starting point for your own. They somewhat recently made major changes, and perhaps you have some older controller setting which got completely broken.

That would make the quest extremely annoying, but not entirely shaite. You do lose credits on each failed attempt. I've wasted so much on it, I can understand why many game companies hide their office locations :D

Oh my, the latest update improved hunting rifle - it now shows the direction for offscreen detections. This is SO much less annoying. I wish I would have discovered WF just now :D

Hate the index. Cannot get past the first mission in the quest. Tried Rhino and Limbo. Losing credits, no way to practice. Hate this quest and the players who come to forums to brag how easy it is for them. There, feeling a bit better. Still think the mechanism is S#&$, at least shared the feelings.

Having lost many boosters due to my gaming hours very often producing boosters shortly before I go to bed, I'm surprised by the effort some people are ready to put in just to rationalise and defend this design mistake :)

Ooh. The latest Steamdeck update fixed this - was related to "game mode" of the controller. Looks like this was a combo - first, the generic controllers got broken, then keyboard raising in game mode. At least I can log in now :)

Tried also the previous controller layout with several Proton versions - the login screen acts somewhat different, but the password field just cannot be selected. Anybody with an idea what got broken?

A few days ago Warframe became completely unusable on SteamDeck - upon startup, there's no focus on the password field, and it cannot be selected. Previously, the field could be selected with "A" button - now it just plays the "unavailable" sound. Tried Proton versions 7, 8, experimental, applied many Warframe updates during these days, tried different controller layouts - no way to enter the password. This might indicate a bug on the Warframe side, not with Steamdeck. While this might have been partially discussed in https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1361307-steam-deck-login-issues-and-control-loss , that thread mixed multiple issues (including another recent breakage where most custom controller layouts got broken). As this login issue appeared later and there does not seem to be any workaround to even enter the game, starting a new thread. Oy, dev team - what's up? :)

Yep, getting this all the time, and there are many other threads about this problem. It would have to somehow be passed to the devs, I guess.

Still getting it, still makes me sad. Searching around, many threads on this. Is there any way to actually get this info to devs?

This seems to be a super old bug - you get completely stuck, it does not fail and it is impossible to extract. There is no indication or anything. Perhaps the most interesting thing is the people who claim that this is not a bug, simply because there is a workaround :)

Getting this very frequently on Steamdeck. Did anybody get to reporting it?

Clicking around, I eventually got some syndicate rewards redeemed (although I'm not sure whether I just got some others, or the ones I tried initially after several retries). And at Cephalon Simaris, I was able to purchase Kinetic Siphon Traps, but not the Synthesis Scanners.

Hi, running Warframe on Steamdeck. I can purchase things in the market, and most other controls work - except syndicate reward accepting and synthesis scanner purchasing. I can open the reward or the scanner, there is a "redeem" or "purchase" button, and I can click it - and there's even the interaction sound (which is different from the "failed interaction" sound, for example, when trying to change syndicate reward amount). But nothing else happens. This does not seem to be a controller issue, as similar controls work elsewhere and there's that seemingly successful interaction sound. What could cause this, how could this be fixed?
