  1. I don't really understand the argument that if DE changes something, they no longer respect your time. If this was the case, you inherently don't respect your time because a live service game is doomed to shut down at some point in the future. You talk as if these nerfs devalue your stock in the company or something, like you've lost an investment. From this stance, you're doomed to lose no matter what DE does.
  2. What does this mean? Tenet Spirex doesn't have have alternative firing mode? Thanks
  3. Interception is my favorite game mode but AoE CC like Gloom cheeses it. I would like some adjustments to this mode with mechanics that can counter this to introduce some more challenge.
  4. Talons ranks #4 on the best slash weapons in the game. Pretty sure they don't need arcanes but it'd be nice.
  5. Archon shards are already buyable. Purchase a carry from someone else for Archon Hunts, Deep Archemedia, Netracells, and Cavia standing.
  6. You can use Archgun and Tenno Specters who can actually deal a considerable amount of damage on their own as they scale with enemy level. You don't have to have everything in the game to play it. Aside being carried or cheesing this game mode, you can farm a weapon/frame you don't have and build them adequately, even using Helminth and Archon shards solely to complete Archemedea all in a week for sure I understand people have responsibilities and prioritize them over the game but this is what Mastery is. Maybe DE is tired of hearing the term "MR fodder." There's an incentive to forma everything in the game now even if there's a lot of bad options. Let's get up there with head-cannon. Your character might prefer dual swords and an SMG but what if they're thrown into a situation where all they have is a bow? You're gonna die if you haven't mastered it. Each bow has a different grip, weight, and draw strength. Your character might be used to wielding Dread but can they handle Cinta? Yadda yadda yadda. It's not like I have all the time in the world either but I don't even do Sorties or Incursions anymore tbh. I just farm level cap Disruptions and crack relics in SP while also buying out the Kuva from vendors when there's a weekly reset. I do Void Cascade every now but I find that to get old faster than just farming fissures. I don't do meta Arbitration runs. I find it extremely boring. I'm MR23 and only have 1,000 hours but I don't mind DE asking me to branch out with gear. I have the plat to invest if I ever run out of forma simply from playing the game. I invest into rivens too. I don't think this is such a big ask, especially when people with higher MRs than me will most likely get one of their OP weapons or frames regularly. People have been asking for endgame; this is it. I read that we could simply have modifiers that disable Saryn's 4th ability Miasma and reduce the range on spores significantly. This way, you can still choose her whilst still retaining the challenge. But you know what? People are going to be taking their select few frames in every time and that isn't the point of this game mode. If you find it so hard or boring that you have to cheese it or ask for a carry then just do it? If we have a boss like The Fragmented One with an incentive to farm it for rares, people will just complain that your build options are limited because there's a meta for efficiency. If the boss isn't a bullet sponge and defeating it relies on mechanics like Profit Taker, it will be optimized to the point of completing it in less than a minute like Profit Taker. What if it's a hybrid boss fight where there are some puzzling phases where your main focus is not dealing damage but the next is when you must deal damage and do puzzling mechanics at the same time? Where's the difficult when you can take all the time you need and just spam Vazarin Protective Sling. Maybe it starts healing after a mechanic is failed to be addressed by the player? Players will scream "ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY. PLAYERS KEEP GETTING MAD OVER THIS SEEMINGLY IMPOSSIBLE MECHANIC TO GET RIGHT AND CAUSE HOST MIGRATION." DPS will be king to ensure that the almost impossible-to-avoid mechanic that heals the boss is trivialized. Metas are formed and the majority of successful runs can only be completed through recruiting. They only let you bring certain frames and weapons because efficiency is everything and their goal is to complete the boss 6 times an hour. If it doesn't have untradable drops, the boss will be completed so many times that it's actually more time efficient to do 2 year old, easier content to farm the plat to buy the boss' drops than to actually farm it. If it has untradable drops that prove to be the best in the game for some builds, then players who don't actually like farming it will be forced to play content they don't enjoy just for the sake of progressing their account just like people are doing now with Archemedea. I actually like some of what I came up with, but there is no content that can please everyone through gameplay or difficulty. Eidolons were divisive. Profit Taker is divisive enough that players opt out of it altogether to just run Index or Railjack where they can bring any frame. What if a player can bring any frame that trivializes Archemedea's modifiers? Meta will be formed to counter those modifiers the easiest way possible and then you still don't have an incentive to bring any frame you actually like playing. Do people just want a casual endgame that involves a lot of grinding to obtain said rewards? What exactly do players want and how can devs implement it in a way that increases the game's longevity, keeps it profitable, and doesn't impede on player choice?
  7. It’s not about being better off. It’s about having different options to break up the monotony that comes with playing with the most broken items. There’s a reason people play with inefficient builds and it’s not because they don’t know better.
  8. There wasn't really anything to understand. You said you would outline your proposed changes but that didn't happen. Instead, you went on a rant about how DE is fighting the "flow" and something something about fulfilling your power fantasy with no restrictions. Your entire post didn't have anything constructive in it. Give it a read yourself.
  9. What is sounds like you look forward to, is being more obsessed with the meta and the gameplay style of Wukong and your third most played, Saryn. It's not bad, it's just that it isn't suitable for everyone. Wukong had a usage rate of 5% and Octavia, 3%. Both had the highest usage rates in a lowish to mid MR bracket. The metas also vary per region like with China vs NA. A lot of these usage rates can be scewed by recommendations to newer players and enforcements of metas in regions like China where you're harassed for not using a particular frame. It might even be due to cultural differences between these two regions that reflect collectivism vs individualism. I don't think your assumptions resonate with nearly as many people as you think. Maybe the vocal minority.
  10. It sounds like you have what you want already? What's the issue? Want more reskinned frames that perform exactly the same? Keep using the same gear and let others play how they'd like. Your suggestions take this freedom away.
  11. Well, that's not what Warframe is. Sorry. Just take a look at WF's quests and other content that doesn't revolve around horde killing or RNG loadouts. That's what you hate and that's what DE will continue making. This diversity is what others like as well and thank god it wasn't a complete failure like Dynasty Warriors Online in the West.
  12. Then whatever you’re suggesting certainly doesn’t make the game sound more interesting or fun. The only reason it somewhat is, is because of whatever semblance of balance that’s still intact.
  13. What it is, is not up to you. DE has no obligation to make changes to the game that they deem unhealthy but would satisfy the immediate needs of the players. Warframe does have some semblance of balance. It may not be consistent and I’m not saying this inconsistency or DE’s ways of handling things shouldn’t be criticized. This is why things get tweaks every once in a while and why we can’t just shoot one bullet from an assault rifle and have every enemy within 1000 meters get sucked through walls into some sort of rift the projectile created. That might look cool but it’s not even a game at that point. Abandoning it all is just stupid, even if you adopt a cynical approach and say that things must be nerfed to sell the next flavor of the week.
  14. Saryn can’t nuke with her spores at level cap. Don’t they have a 100k damage cap? Kullervo teleports with a limited range, a short delay before recasts, and a LoS requirement in which case you must bullet jump and teleport…possibly performing a slow impact animation when grounding yourself.” These small minute details are balance. Yeah, base SP is no problem these days in terms of nuking but it’s not as bad as what you’re suggesting. People go to level cap because it’s boring as all hell in base SP and you at least have to pay attention to some mechanics there to get efficient results. Even then, other people have been wanting to reign in balance because the game is no longer enjoyable to them. People have subjected themselves to playing solo because of unbalanced frames and weapons. If your suggestions come true, do you think anti synergy would incentivize people to continue playing in squads? I don’t think that would continue fostering a health game community. I know unfun frames exist like Saryn and Octavia. This does not mean I have ever been interested in subjecting myself to this gameplay. I choose Tenet Exec over Glaives and Melee Incarnons. I choose frames with interesting mechanics and item interactions like Nekros with Theorem Infection to boost my companion’s and summons’ dps. The gameplay with him is slowish because I need to use an outdated Kitgun which I enjoy the look and feel of to create buffing zones to activate the arcane. I subject myself to this because I enjoy it over a game that I could otherwise play with a macro script while I sleep. I would say the majority of public squads I’ve seen share my sentiment unless the only thing you do is group following a meta for Arbitrations. The mechanics are there, you just refuse to engage with them. It’s not particularly incentivized either because of the lack of rewards. But to many, Steel Essence or Arcanes aren’t the only rewards. It’s the variety of gameplay experience, fashion, kit synergies, weapon animations, the sounds weapons and frames make, etc. Balance is needed in every PvE game otherwise they die. How this isn’t understood is beyond me. Personally, you sound burnt out and this post sounds like another knee jerk reaction.
