  1. yeah nah, the extreme screen shake is just a sampotes thing, cus the followup explosions all cause a S#&$ ton for some reason, kinda funny, but also kinda disorienting on another note: the inconsistency with elevation also applies to the tenet exec's heavy slam explosions (not the absurd screen shake tho)
  2. With the recent slam attack changes, as well as the new Lavos augment, I decided to try the Sampotes, and wow is it fun, buuuuut..... Elevation makes the heavy slam very inconsistent, here's some practical examples: if there is an obstacle between you and the enemy, your slam and explosions will go through it and hit them. All good there if your enemy is on higher elevation than you, your slam and explosions will go through whatever they are standing on. Not ideal, but it has its uses if your enemy is on lower elevation than you, or there is a gap between you, your slam will be partially mid air, and no explosions will be created at all. This one is a huuuuge pain in the ass land your slam on a box in the index? no explosions enemy is on a staircase slightly below you? no explosions I haven't tested every scenario, but these are the ones that happens to me most personally I'd like if the explosions were able to scale slopes and stairs, while still retaining the ability to go through obstacles, but even just letting the explosions spawn in the air would help
  3. Opened a ton of relics with a squad earlier, but it turns out that none of them counted towards the "open 10 relics" nightwave missions, I imagine this is due to a bug with the new fissures, since I ran a couple capture fissures solo earlier and they counted just fine.
  4. Picked up Lavos around a week before it dropped and was having a good bit of fun with him and the cedo, but DAMN the augment kicks things up a notch. Lavos was already pretty versatile, but obviously against enemies that are ability immune, he doesn't bring anything new to the table...until you put on Valence Formation. Being able to tune your weapon's damage type mid mission is #*!%in sweet, not to mention the guaranteed status, going up against an armored demolisher? add cold, shoot it in the face, switch to corrosive, boom, now it can barely move and has lost most of its armor (all of it if you run 2 emerald shards). Huge thanks for adding this one DE, here's hoping more people will gives Lavos a try now that this is around P.S, if you're on controller, I personally recommend swapping tap/hold on Lavos and using the ability menu, that way you can tap 1 or 2 buttons for your elements, then hold for the ability, saves some strain one your fingers
  5. adding to this: it is fantastic for people like me who listen to music while farming to help relax
  6. that is jaw-dropping, it reminds me of the style they use for the newer cinematic trailers now I kinda wish duviri got one lol
  7. I think they mentioned that they added a ton of albrecht's lab style decorations to the dojo, but I don't think they mentioned any for the orbiter/dormizone sadly
  8. fully agree with the consensus here, personally I'd love the ability to just have a fully functional/intentional airborne heavy attack, especially for gunblades!
  9. Adding to this, Bonewidows don't seem to get a minimap icon after they spawn (they still get the Voidrig one while the Culverin is summoning them)
  10. Ceracris, the locust frame I came up with
  11. Concept information Name: Ceracris Name origin and other potential names General Concepts: Locust frame, no shields, health as energy, status spreader, weapon based dps, good with teammates (these concepts will be elaborated further as abilities are explained) Stats (all stats listed at max rank) Health: 1000 Shields: 0 Armor: 300 Energy: 0 Ability Info Within the ability details there will be additional categories labelled "Mechanical Info" and "Conceptual Info" "Mechanical Info" refers to specific ability rules and interactions, the stuff that doesn't fit in the ability descriptions, like how the ability interacts with unique enemies "Conceptual Info" refers to my intentions and thought processes behind making the ability, to make it easier to understand decisions and give feedback Tenacity (passive) Swarm (1st ability) Lifeforce (Mechanic of 1st ability) Famine (2nd ability) Disperse (3rd ability) Plague (4th ability) Visual design So for starters: I don't have the artistic talent to make concept art or ability icons for the frame without significantly diminishing the quality of the post. However! I have some rough ideas Closing thoughts Feedback is immensely appreciated, I've poured a lot of time into refining these ideas and putting them into words, so I want my bug boy to have the best chance he can get! If you see something that looks extremely off balance-wise or conceptually, don't hesistate to tell me, I'd hate to have the whole idea thrown out because I wrote out a description on like, 5 hours of sleep. Sidenote: locusts are #*!%in crazy dude, have you ever seen how many of those things are in a "plague"? yeesh
  12. god, yeah, especially since there's no indication of which type of two-tone the ability uses until you check it in the captura or a mission
  13. making them all consistent might be a bit of a pain depending on how the system works, tho it seems like they having a pretty efficient system for easily adding it to new things, since every new frame, weapon, accessory etc. gets it, and it was retroactively added to everything when the system was added and yisss, purple, black, and gold, haven't seen a single piece of gear it doesn't work on
  14. side tangent, but the inconsistency of which type is used also kinda bothers me my gauss' helmet (nitrolyst) uses gradient, but the rest of the emissives use mixed... it's not just a tennogen thing either, my veritux has a gradient on the edge of the blade, but mixed on the rest and the trumna? mixed emissives, gradient projectile/explosions, and muzzle flash particles that use seperate...what even having more consistency on that would make it waaaay easier to make my loadout match in color scheme
  15. I'd like to start of by saying that I absolutely adore the two-tone energy system the tl;dr is: let us put two-tone energy on more things (railjacks, orbiters, landing craft, etc), and give us more control over what type of two-tone is used, a simple button will do personally I would also like it if I didn't have to spend a forma on something to make it match my fashion, but that might just be me now to go into further detail! Two-tone on more stuff please! let's say I have a nice two-tone energy, like this ephemera! now I want to match my ship or railjack with my warframe welp, my main options are: green or blue neither of which match that well regardless of what shade I try, two-tone energy on orbiter/railjack interiors, as well as landing craft engines would fix this easily and now the main reason for this post More control over the two-tone please! Currently there are three types of two-tone energy gradient (my favorite), where the two colors fade into eachother mixed, where the two colors mix to create a new color and separate, where the colors are unchanged, and simply affect different areas of the energy my proposal is simply a button to cycle between the 3 options, so that the colors can be carefully decided, instead of being based on what you're coloring here's a very rough mockup:
