DE isn’t Epic Games. They don’t have this gigantic pull within the world of game development to just have stuff like this happen. Again, DE doesn’t carry that much weight in the gaming world. We have the best F2P game out there, but that’s about it. They don’t have to pull to pressure Microsoft or Sony to do as they ask. I also do not support throwing time and energy towards crossplay. Warframe has healthy populations on each platform. Population isn't needed for Crossplay i Know a game that is less famous than warframe, DC universe online. Sony and microsoft Only accept games that is tested before comes up to console . They’ve already started nurturing relationships with Panic Button, and Fortnite developers are literally GIVING away the tools they used to make it happen. Digital Extremes is the little company that succeeded against all odds. If they committed themselves to it, they could make it happen. Also, to those who said they don’t want cross platform play- there is literally zero (sensible) reason to be against it, and every platform would benefit from an increased playerbase and merged player run marketplace. Especially Switch. We’re freaking choking to death. Also, DCUO sucks, especially it’s community management and forum moderation. They ban everyone who criticizes the game, no matter how fairly. But they have at least begun PC/PS4 cross platform play, thus proving it is possible.
