You should be able to get to the objective area with some time to spare with Odonata Prime. The Itzal is a fast Archwing, but it isn't as fast as you may think. I even removed all the mods from my Itzal to have a clear feeling of how long it would take to reach the target. As long as you don't get distracted by enemies and destroy only the Tether mines that you find along the path that will slow you down, even the Imperator should be enough to destroy the targets.

Experimental Flight is a setting present in the Controls section of the options menu. Having it disabled allows you to use the old Archwing movement, but you're permanently auto-leveled to a 2D horizontal plane that's only used in the Plains of Eidolon/Orb Vallis.

Having it enabled gives you access to a control method that makes more sense in space, but its much harder to control for anyone that isn't used to navigate in full 3D spacial environment. It also reduces the chances of ramming yourself against obstacles. The way controls work between having it disabled or enabled is different. I suggest running a few Archwing missions on other Archwing nodes with it enabled so you can get used to it.

Thank you so much, you have been more than helpful and it gives me a goal to work at. I'll let you know how I get on with your suggestions but regardless; you've been very very helpful and I appreciate it immensely

@(PS4)Claudija You might also consider trying to build the Amesha archwing for your troubles in those nodes.

For Rush, though it's a relatively slow 'wing, having its first ability Watchful Swarm active prevents terrain collisions from staggering you while the drones are active (consuming 1 per bump) which can help a lot when you're trying to power through the Corpus trench runs.

Its immeasurable defense and utility should allow you to run in and simply face-tank any enemy units while you're fighting to keep hold of your interception points, too. Hard to fail when you can slow like a Nova while being invulnerable and regenerating all your health and energy consistently.

I have primarily played solo and the only one that has really held me up is the Rush node. Haven't ran a disruption yet, but hijack and interception aren't to bad.

I am one of those open everything, explore every tile of the map players. Only time I really join a squad if for Fissures, then I just try and keep up and do as much damage and killing as I can. The boss on Uranus gave me some trouble, but that was because I didn't have the right melee weapon. Fragor is cool, but not fast enough for this fight, being killed and re spawning with some ammo is the only way I could finish it.

I have managed to build three of the five labs in the Dojo by myself, its time consuming and resource draining. They are cool, but not as cool as I had hoped. Considering how much game there is, I think the grind for your own clan is the only real downside to playing the game solo.

I know the feels there, plus side I spent so long repeating missions I got the Dojo all built- every Lab and working with the Grineer items first; but it is a grind yes

Well, you can always run that specific mission on a Squad just to unlock the rest of the mission path xD

And then whenever you feel like it, you can then run it at your leisure, with no pressures.

If I can find one xD its so hard to get Archwing PS4 squads it seems 😋

Thanks to a player Jani_hun_85 finally got that Rush done. The Survival against Infested is fun but what do I need know about Defection missions please?

There will be 4 conduits, each of them need to be activated with a key that is dropped from certain enemies (Amalgam from Corpus and Demolishers from other factions), once you put in, it will spawn a demolyst which will be trying to go on a suicide mission to destroy the conduit, your job is to either kill it, or stop it from reaching the conduit before the timer runs out (2 minutes). The Demolyst will have a beeping sound and a red pulsing indicator once youre close enough to it. The conduits will activate a buff which will persist until the end of the round if you DID manage to defend it, or a debuff which will last until the end of the round if you did NOT manage to defend it. All 4 conduits are marked with a different color and symbol, which needs to match with the key to activate it. For solo play I highly suggest you do it one at a time.

Isn't that the Disruption Mission? Defection is activate mission, find the team, escort them to Med-Bay then to their Evac spot. You must protect the team as any die, they turn into Infested Chargers and even if revived once, second death; its instant. If solo, just one team needs get safely back to evac. Khora is my main and the Wiki said she's one of the best choices by setting Venari to Healer the cat will keep the team safe whilst Khora focuses on keeping the Infested off them. Rescued five squads before I needed to make coffee so Extracted and took home my spoils 😋.

Thank you all the same for your input.

Awww no need, you tried helping me out; I appreciate it regardless. No head-burying as I do enough dopey/silly stuff my head should never see daylight by that token 😋

Defection missions? just keep the Kavor alive. I, however, found out that you can't get distracted with their health. If they are full, or very close to be full, keep sending them to their extraction point.

I found the wiki entry, its rare in that we're much better off doing Defection alone as once one squad is safe the mission's a success just when you feel like leaving rather than needing rounds of five say.

The bypass node.. You know we get say Nightmare (Vampire Mode) giving a node that red highlight? Well at Tharsis (sure that's the one before Maroo) has the default Corpus-Hijack mission. I struggle with Hijack until the day I tapped the OP when Khora and Venari completed it for me and that helped me reach a Junction objective on Jupiter. But back to my example heh, Tharsis had on offer;

Red Veil - Exterminate

Corpus - Hijack

So I took the Red Veil. Completing that mission the game counted it as if I'd done the Hijack instead, unlocked the node and I continued to Maroo to continue my quest.

What I'm asking in my OP is what if this were regular? That we have two choices (though I like Uhrektor's idea of randomising nodes too) as basic for the nodes and should a special/event mission also use that node; it would replace one of the two base options- we'd always have two choices per node basically.

More choice would be nice, I will give you that. Maybe they could expand upon the reasons for going to individual nodes and give us mission options in terms of how to achieve our goals there.

I just think it's weird to struggle with Hijack. I'm not sure what you're doing that makes it difficult for you.

Thank you. Mostly how the object never moves... but Khora got me through one solo so I guess its okay 😊
