Weapons to build and weapons to sell off

Guys please help me i have lots of weapons and little space for new weapons. Which ones should i sell off and which one should i keep also while you're at it can you tell me which one should i build as well?

This of course will depend in your play style and preferences, so feel free to disagree with my opinions.

Fang / Fang Prime, Ethel reaper, tetra, stug, karak, and convextric tend to underperform.

Bronco, cestra, skana, grakata, vasto, and the anku have a dual version so you can safely get rid of those if you simply want more burst damage.

That being said, furis is more useful than afuris due to the winds of purity augment.

 

As for suggestions, what kind of weapons do you tend to like? What's your MR?

Anything that has a variant (prime , wraith , vandal , prisma) is usually better than the base (exceptions exist) you can rid yourself of any of these if you can get your hands on their variants.

For completeness sake, though it should be obvious: If you didn't level it to 30 yet, keep it.

Does it have a Catalyst installed? Keep it.

Do you like the weapon? Keep it.

Is it on this list https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Weapons_Required_as_Crafting_Ingredients? Keep it and use it to craft another weapon. You don't want to have to waste resources and time just to recraft it later.

Is it a Prime weapon? Better keep it. Is it a Wraith/Vandal/Prisma/Syndicate weapon? Depends (see next point), but I'd keep it just because they can be hard/annoying/expensive to get. Is it the base version of one of those? Usually safe to sell.

Finally, check different tier lists or build websites like https://www.cephalonwannab.com/. If it's bad, sell it.

sorry for replying to this thread after like 2 months i had my exams. Anyway im mr 16 and i like to dish out massive damage and sometimes bleed over time too if this makes any sense lol
