(XBOX)KnightSlayer411
Why would we want to manually detonate the grenades? This is not a stealth game, this is a run and gun game. It's annoying to be constantly pressing fire and alt fire all the freaking time. Make them auto detonate always. Removing an annoying feature from a cool weapon is always a good idea.

Because around-the-corner trick shots (with the help of Enemy Radar Mods) are fun 😄 You can also detonate the 'nades in mid-air (neat for e.g. flying enemies), and set up traps for enemies to walk into, not least with Tether Grenades. If you don't want manual detonation, there's other options for you (like Tonkor / Zarr / Bramma), I feel it's a shame that (kinda-must-have) Napalm Grenades removes that unique feature. That said, anyone who uses the default controller config has my sympathies, having Secondary Fire on Right Stick click-in is a bit ridiculous (lol Panthera / Phantasma), and I wouldn't know if there's a sensible re-bind for it that doesn't hinder functionality in other regards. yles9056
The feature was used to prevent self-damage. Self-damage is gone, but self-staggering is a thing now. Maybe an exilus mod for auto detonation? My idea: Auto Detonation(primary/secondary): Projectiles automatically detonate after deployed in 2/1/0 seconds. Mod rank decides how long the delay will be. At max rank, projectiles detonate instantly when deployed. Edited March 30, 2020 by yles9056

Really not necessary, just use Napalm Grenades, which gives a damage & Status boost, and creates patches of fire (i.e. Heat procs), easily worth the slot. 6 hours ago, yles9056 said: At max rank, projectiles detonate instantly when deployed. So ... they explode in your face? 😛 (I assume you mean, upon impact, they detonate after X seconds.)

I was thinking about explosive secondary weapons like Castanas when I typed that which also need to detonate manually. Aside from Napalm Grenades changing the grenades to detonate on contact as @NinjaZeku mentioned, this would break Tether Grenades's CC potential. (PSN)jaggerwanderer
It's been a while since I used this weapon. Can we fire more than one grenade? And if we can, do all of them explode if we press the alt fire button? Or just one at a time?
