What happens with my Warframe account if I change my PS4 username?

I wanted to change my PSN username last night, but then PSN presented me with a list of games where... compatibility problems may exist, let's put it that way, and Warframe was on that list.

For anyone who's tried this before, what happened to your account? Did you lose any progress? Did it work just fine?

I changed my name.  Abbandon_ign -> Abbandon_ 

It didnt affect any of the games I play.

There is like a grace period where ps4 holds onto your old name for x amount of time before it fully converts...  

On the forums it treats you like you are an entirely new person,  you lose your post count and forum post history.  I dont think this happens until your ps4 grace period is over?? Or maybe it happened as soon as I logged out of forums and back in...   That was the worse thing that happened but oh well..

For me, all good. All works fine after change, nothing lost.

I believe there's a potential for some forum shenanigans, and that your new PSN name may not correctly update in game right away. If you have concerns or questions, your best bet is to probably contact DE's Customer Support with a support ticket.

Your new username has a good chance on saving across WF since I changed my name now

There are consequences to changing your username, you will lose all your progress on ps2 online games

Eh, it's fine. I don't think I've ever played online on PS2. You do have a point though, so I'll do some research on what the consequences are.
