Infestation vs Sentients?

During The Old War, the Orokin Empire was desperate in defeating their Sentient adversaries, so they rebooted Infestation research to find ways to weaponize the parasite against their enemy. Thus, Warframes were created out of the Helminth strain of the Infestation. These Warframes, manned by their Tenno operators, would be deployed in battle proving effective in defeating their assailants and would lead them to their eventual victory. Not only were the Warframes used in military operations, but they also found a purpose in taming Infested outbreaks and reclaiming Orokin territory affected by the Infested.

So Infested 1--Sentients 0

well the sentients build resistances to what damages them right and in game lore says the sentients are imune to the infested so thats proof that the sentients and infested fought as how else did the sentients all get that resistance?

and the sentients are in another system (will be here in new war) but the infested are here now so who do you think won that previous engagement if the infested are here now and the sentients are not

For one thing, there's current, modern evidence that Sentients still have immunity to infestation.

"The Quills speak of Sentient Immunity to the Infestation".

I doubt that the Quills would speak of this if it wasn't still accurate to this day, what with their whole future vision thing.

Also, there's no reason to believe that the Sentients arriving now are even from Tau. Bear in mind, the only Sentient minds we see or hear are ones that were present during the Old War. Erra, Hunhow and Natah/Lotus. 'Mother' is the only wild card, but we also only have Erra's word that she's alive, dead, or even present. He is named after the Akkadian god of lies and he doesn't appear trustworthy.
