I would say extend this to all weapons. It would be nice if prime weapons could use vanilla skins and toggle prime details for Conclave Skins, Shock Camo, etc. I would really like to use Vanilla Corinth skin or Vanilla Aksomati skins.

Yes, I refuse to use Kronen Prime because it looks worse than the golden wings that is the base Kronen. Fashionframe trumps better damage as it stands.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt. personally I MUCH prefer the primes though: the vanilla ones are basically just a barrel and nothing else (Mesa's Thumbs are the hammers lol), whereas the Primes are clearly inspired by old school Percussion (AKA "Cap n Ball) Revolvers which are some of the best looking types of guns there is IMO.

Well, I don't know. Regular Mesa is literally killing everyone with finger guns. I find it hillarious.

I've taken issue with this problem for a long time.

• Exalted prime weapons should be able to use base version skins
• Regular prime weapons as well as other weapon variants (wraith, vandal etc.) should also be able to use the defaults
• Prime warframe abilities should be able to be toggled to use the base versions
