As as player in a single-player-only story mission, I want to be able to turn off all chat so that I can enjoy the experience without a chat popup ruining the immersion.

It's in options to turn off chats

There /DND that ... Kinda works sometimes (Do not Disturb).

I still got some text popups even with /DND on however...

Agreed. Clan chat and Alliance should have disable toggles just like others.

A simple game restart fixed chats not being visible for me, so if you haven't, try that

That's just works like this in quest, nobody even wrote something, just chat window reminds it exist.

Because I can't past copied text into the chat in-game.

How can you say chat is fixed? Ps4 I keep getting leftover squad chats. I have to L1 R1 and check names to even communicate with squad and by the time I type, I'm often dead.

I've had squad chats that end up with 8 players in it from the last few squads.

It would be nice to have a /reset to reset the squad and chat windows.

This would also help to remove old invite messages etc that stick around until I close the game.

Related, getting glitched where option doesn't work so you can't chat or leave squad or anything is also very bad.

I had to stick with a nightwave squad (totally incompetent) for eidolons because I couldn't leave and my glitch was going to prevent them from trying a tridolon. I ended up carrying them,  but it took the whole night for a 1x3.
