Library of Babel: collection of related items (weapons, companion, frame etc) related to new weapon type - Grimoire secondary

After hearing about new weapon type (secondary Grimoire) I thought it would "cool" to get other items related to (magic) books. We don't know what will be Grimoire in warframe so it's half serious topic, without too much details.

Guns (Primary, Secondary, Archwing, Companion weapons, Amps, Kitguns)

Primaries vs secondaries:

Primary versions could be slower but they can hit harder (e.g. more damage or radius). On other hand Secondaries could be faster (firerate, reload). Visually Primary Grimoire could be bigger. Secondary (maybe some versions) could be smaller and maybe have few version floating around or hovering near you.

Archwings:

That's like above but even bigger than Primary.

Companion:

Companion weapons may be like small version floating around companion.

Amps/Kitguns:

Those would be created via few parts affecting their stats and 2 modes (like current kitguns or amps) or they could have 1 mode but have additional effect. Examples:

- 1st type: normal single shot (e.g. lex) AND continuous beam (e.g. Glaxion)

- 2nd type: headshot creates explosion AND attacking enemies pulls enemies towards reticle

- with 2 modes you can do:

-- 1st mode: single shot, 2nd mode headsthos explode enemy with N meters (e.g. 10)

-- 1st mode beam, 2nd mode attacks that suck enemies within N meters (e.g. 10 meters)

- with 2nd'ary additional effect:

-- single shot, headshots explode enemies with N/2 meters (from example above, twice less, so 5 meters)

-- beam mode that suck enemies within N/2 meters (as above 5 meters)

Melees (normal & zaws):

Making melee from literal book would be funny. However you can do some "virtual" attacks like Baruuk/4th. Melee grimoire stores certain attacks (how they character moves, how fast, how it affects enemy/enemies, base power/status/crit/stuff etc) and create see through specters (like Thrax unit ghost form) that do certain actions and disappear when you don't attack. They are slightly in front of you. Executing moving combos (normal moving & block moving) would just moves frame (e.g. walking or running) while the specter does some "crazy attacks".

Using virtual attacks lets Grimoire use attacks using different weapons (or lack of them). STanding combo may "fist" enemies, moving combo may use stuff, block combo may use Gunblades (moving from side to side) and block+moving may ride like Ghoulsaw. There is much more freedom here.

Zaws could shine here. Each part can set moveset from different weapon types. For example (taking only 2 for simplicity) "standing combo: fist" + "moving combo: stuff". We can use movesets for:

- standing, moving, block, block+moving

- slamming (e.g. normal, like Ghoulsaw with another attack)

- aerial (normal, mentioned melee set from Deimos), aerial + block + aimglide (e.g. Vitrica attack on aimglide)

- heavy attack (normal & quick, slow with continuous animation like Ghoulsaw, with projectile like Corufell, or more projectiles like Sarpa's)

So instead of 1 stance they would use 4 or more. DIY stance could be used here for simplicity (stance affect stats but stance affects how weapons do like above attacks):

Frame:

Frame can have more proficiency in using Grimoire weapon types. There could faster reload, more melee/gun range, more ammo etc.

Frame can use copies like Mirage. Maybe this could be tied to certain condition (using ability/passive) like "kill X enemies creates 2nd copy of your weapon for 10 seconds, attacks only when you attack).

Frame can be user of "Shikigami" (gami/kami, afair means god and paper, hence pun "paper doll"). Look at this scene (action starts at 1/2 of movie; spoilers from Read or die):

There are many things that can be used with Shikigami:

- make it harder like steel, maybe depend on Strength - creates melee or cover currently equiped melee to make it stronger/harder

- summon beasts/monsters - some short lived (e.g. when you press ability key, frame creates monster(s) that attack what's infront of you for 3 seconds, so 1-2 ability, with low energy cost), or it could be companion (like Venari), they are made from paper so they can move through many obstacles (e.g. through holes). They can move in the air (bird like companion, e.g. Eagle)

- protect something (e.g. like Gara's ring but with paper instead)

- CC enemy (covers them in paper, prevent them from attacking or using powers, make them blind so they don't attack you etc)

- paper storm (ultimate): pages (paper) flies around you, attack enemies, when you aim they change into group (e.g. 5-10) of monster and attack at what you are aiming

- Lore: we can use Library of Babel story (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Library_of_Babel https://libraryofbabel.info/ ) Some frame/tenno librarian were affected by Void storm. It connects his Library to all possible libraries/books. STaying long in this "infinite library" makes him understand book (e.g. Grimoire) A LOT (hence using Shikigami aka paper dolls and Grimoire-type stuff). Maybe Grimoire-related stuff were created or affected by the Library.

Companion:

- Flying book that teleports to random locations on strong attack (e.g. 10%-20% of hp), being invulnerable for few seconds and agro enemies.

I would honestly like to see this new weapon just be a one-off quest weapon like how Nataruk or War originally felt when they released. Trying to make this an archetype would feel forced and out of place with how Warframe is. DE is always about trying new things to spice up the game, but there is valid criticism in remembering what this game is in the first place.

I havent seen a book as a weapon since Lineage 2. Although there is one magic doom-like game coming out soon, no books though, just magic FPS. Anyway, we shall see if the magic books in WF are gonna be just a few random pieces like in L2 or a whole weapon type.

I am also apprehensive. Duviri leaned way too far into the fantasy genre for my liking, and while a little "magic" can be spicy if done well (like our void voodoo), too much would be a negative for me.
